SUPER SKETCHY! Fernando did a quote for me, which went fine. I went in to give him the check a couple hours later. He said the carpet I picked out was discontinued. Maybe he shoulda known that already but whatever, also fine. When he suggested I get the downgraded carpet of the same color, I asked how much less that would be. He said it would be the same as the original quote bc it’d only be 50 cents/yard different. Upon request, he did the math. It was $25 cheaper (so why not just be fair and make it $25 less?). He justified it as a minuscule difference. With that logic, I asked then if the upgraded version of that color would be the same original quote as well, right? Oh no in that case it’d be more. So which is it, the same price or is he just wanting me to pay more for nothing? Not just that tho!! When I tried to downgrade to an even cheaper different color carpet, he said it’d still be the same price as the original quote. I asked why and he said “because different brands.” But when he stepped away for a moment I saw the samples he was showing me were the exact SAME BRAND. What an absolute liar! Maybe it’s because I’m a woman so he thought he could get away with it and treat me like that? Idk but he obviously was deceptive. FERNANDO is sketchy. And he’s the co-owner! HOME FLOOR DECOR = SKETCHY.

UPDATE: They responded to this review… To them I say: I don’t care that the original carpet I picked was discontinued. That’s not even your fault. You missed the point, which is that you lied and even now you do not apologize or try to make anything right. These sample boards are the same brand so don’t lie. But ur right they’re different quality which is why they should be different prices but you did not change the quote to reflect the cheaper carpet. Bad intentions trying to lead the customer astray, and even worse...

We had an absolutely terrible experience with Home Floor Decor Flooring Design, and I strongly urge others to think twice before purchasing from them. Six months ago, we bought LVP flooring from this company, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare since.

The flooring began breaking in several places within a few months of installation. When the installation started we discovered just how poor the quality was. The floor was so brittle that the connection parts snapped off during installation, and many of the pieces were warped. This is not the kind of durability or quality you would expect, especially for something that's supposed to last for years.

What makes it worse is the complete lack of accountability from the company. Instead of acknowledging that the product was defective, they immediately blamed the installation and our home’s foundation being unleveled. This is unacceptable. A reputable company would take some responsibility and work with the customer to make things right, but Home Floor Decor Flooring Design clearly isn’t interested in standing behind the products they sell. When we approached them about this, they admitted to not quality checking the product in the boxes before selling it to us.

Avoid this company at all costs. The poor quality of their flooring and their unwillingness to take any responsibility for the issues speak volumes about how little they care about their customers. We spent almost 4K on this flooring, that they said was “first quality” and now we’re left to...

I looked at several large retailers to get carpet for two large rooms we are doing new construction on. I went with Home Floor Decor for several reasons. The first was because they beat out the large retailers by hundreds of dollars. The second because they had a selection that was very comparable in quality and design to what I was looking for. Lastly, because they could schedule me in about three weeks earlier than any of the large retailers. Every interaction was positive. All communication was prompt and professional. The measure and install was done in the time quoted for the price quoted. The installer did a very nice job. Because both rooms were quite large they had to be seamed. The seams are not visible.
