We live pretty close to the Merriman entrance just south of Warren and we visit Hines often. We have 3 dogs and we walk them there regularly. I took my son and now take my niece to the playgrounds throughout the park. It's really nice to have different structures for her to play on within a few miles of each other. I take Hines Dr to and from work daily. I take it pretty much at every opportunity. I love the winding ups and downs as well as the lack of traffic lights and intersections. Only complaint I have is the paved path could be street cleaned a one or two times a year. I rollerblade with my dog and there's always rocks and sticks on the path. It's really dangerous on blades. I try to only go when the road is closed to traffic on Saturdays during the warmer months and when it's flooded so I can go in the road without the obstacles. We love Hines. There is always something to do. It runs from Ford rd and Evergreen area all the way to 7 mile in Northville. Tons of stuff to do. Literally. Even a remote control car...
