Best Customer Service of ANY ACE Store - PERIOD!
This store is not my local store, but went way above and beyond to help me. I ordered 6 shelving units on sale, but my order was knocked down to 2, which in itself, is enough of a frustration to send me elsewhere to shop online. I called ACE's main # and they said they did not know why my order got reduced, as there were plenty at the warehouse. They suggested I place another order for 4 pieces, which would make up for the 4 that were cancelled. That order went to this Westland store, but that order got knocked down from 4 to 3. Being very frustrated, I called the Westland store and spoke to Kelsey, who was very nice and very helpful. She said by that time, there were no more units at the main warehouse, but she was expecting more stock in a few days and would call me. She actually did call me a few days later, and told me the warehouse was still out of stock, but that their store got a few in and she would use those to fulfill my order. She also said that since I was one unit short, SHE would check all the local stores and get me that 6th unit if I still wanted it! I told her yes, please do. She found a 6th unit and my order was complete. Kelsey did everything she said she would do, and more! I was ready to give up on ACE and start shopping elsewhere. Read moreI’ve been going to this store for several years but the past several months have been very stressful. Today put the end of my going to this store. I walked around this store several times looking for what I needed. I found several items on my own but couldn’t find the last item. I passed 6 employees standing at the key counter. I stopped a few feet away from them and kept looking at the aisle info cards. They were to busy to ask if I needed help. I found what I needed and went to the cashier. I asked her where the closest ace was she said on Merrimack. I told here about my visit she made no comment. When leaving I approached her and said if this were my store she would have asked me to wait and get the manager to make this right. But I said that wouldn’t work because they apparently don’t have one. I have been a loyal customer for several years and now I know what all my friends and neighbors were saying. Read moreI would like to thank Karen for helping me get my rebate/reward. She insisted on correcting if there was a mistake in my last purchase hence the reason I didn’t get my reward for purchasing 2 bags of fertilizers the end of April. When I couldn’t find my receipt., I thought I will not get my reward. I thought there was something weird about my last purchase and I remembered I did saved the receipts and Karen got her manager to figure out why I didn’t get my reward and he did figure it out and still honored the advertised reward even though the person who rang up my purchase did not do it properly.
