So I moved up to denver recently and I have been looking into a new MTG store. I have gone to different stores and some like to talk garbage about each other and talk down to you if you go to their competition, which i feel is very unprofessional. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Don't talk down to me.
The store is very professional.
Read moreI’ve been to this store 2 times before. The first time I grabbed some singles during a promotion they were running, so that I could buy singles I needed, but also open some packs. I can’t exactly recommend them for anything. The second time I went to buy a few single cards I asked about a specific card that was very playable, the employee seemed bothered by me asking about a specific card, but did look it up for me just to flat say “we don’t carry cards like that.” Well actually it seems you do because I’m standing in front of card boxes with several cards “like that”. Whatever, I understand it’s probably in no sorted fashion and picked through a lot. What bothers me is that I think an older couple inside wanted to get some estimates on trade values and the clerk was even rude to them. Then loud as can be I hear a manager type clerk in the back saying “hey In the future pick through the ones that will only hold any value or just offer the bare minimum for the bare minimum of cards we can sale.” That didn’t sit with me well that you would cherry pick someone’s collection and offer nothing close to what they are probably valued at. They have some vintage in the case that says “gradeable” unless you’ve personally worked as a card grading specialist, you have no right to mark a card as “gradeable” that doesn’t sit well either what’s it gradeable as? A 7,8,9,10 you can’t value a ungraded card higher just because your opinion is that it looks fresh. While inquiring about the single I needed, another customer just said “look in here” I said back “look in here?” Customer shoes me away in front of an employee and just said “look in here” that could imply that I needed to look through the box for what I was asking for, no the customer should have said “excuse me I need to look in this box” that would have made sense, but he directly said to me “look in here” what does that even mean if I’m asking for a specific card and you say “look In here” directly to me. I won’t be returning to be scammed by these people. Lots of hoops to jump through just to be a loyal customer. I’d recommend level 7 and they are probably only a 3...
Read morethe service was awful I went in there to sell some of my magic cards a employee I guess his name was Chris was busy eating a pizza after being ignored for several minutes I asked him could I sell some of my magic cards here he rudely told me to look at the buy list I didn't have time to look through the entire buy list so I asked him is there anyway he can look at my cards he rudely reply to me that's why we have a buy list Not only was he rude in the first place and completely ignored me to eat his pizza but I had to ask him for help and he wouldn't even give it to me I went across the street to be helped by someone that actually wanted my business and was told by the employees there that he's rude to a lot of customers it would have took him 5 minutes max to look at my cards but he didn't even grace me with that I recommend buying your magic stuff from coins cards and comics they're much nicer and will actually try to help you rather than this place game heroes you're not a hero you are a zero
update since I wrote this review I emailed the owner a couple of times regarding the issue I had was basically told by the owner it was my fault because they have a buy list owner did nothing to solve the problem I was told by the owner I could email him a list of the cards I wanted to sell trying to give this place a second chance I emailed the list and never heard back from him so I can only assume no one in the store actually cares about the customer they only pretend to it's a shame because the owner had a chance to win me back as a customer but instead chose to ignore me again like they did in the store the first time I came in there do not go in the store if you want to trade in cards or sell them your cards because they will ignore you and the owner is a liar because he says he will resolve your issues in the Google reviews but never does anybody could offer a half-hearted apology try taking some concrete steps next time to solve customers issues a half-hearted apology solves no...
