3 great historic buildings with original trims, doors, windows. However, other than the tall case clock room and the Shipley house, there were very limited historical items to see with many rooms completely empty, very sparse displays, and tour guide unable to answer most questions. The new parking and changes in layout make the historical society easier than before to physically access and use for research. Their new exhibits are much different (in a good way) than before, with fresh displays of artifacts and signage. Other changes are happening, but right now I'd say adults are the main audience, and kids 8+ would find some parts interesting. A new hands-on area is in the works,...
