I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt I had to in this case.
My family and I decided to try this Thai restaurant after seeing so many great reviews, but we were extremely disappointed—and honestly shocked that others had such a different experience. From the moment we walked in, things felt off.
You can see straight into the kitchen, and what I saw was far from clean. It looked unsanitary, but we were hungry and it was late, so we decided to stay—against my better judgment.
I ordered the red curry chicken, and my daughters got beef Pad Thai and Thai teas. Everything was way too sweet. I’ve had Thai tea many times and know it’s sweet, but this was syrupy sweet—borderline undrinkable. The curry was the same—oddly sweet. My daughters’ noodles were also overly sweet, and the beef had a strange, off-putting taste like it had gone bad. I couldn’t even swallow one bite of the meat without feeling like I might throw up.
Since we ate there, I’ve felt nauseous and am honestly just hoping none of us ends up with food poisoning.
To top it all off, the service was cold. The waiter looked annoyed the entire time, barely made eye contact, rushed through taking our order, and didn’t acknowledge us when we said “please” or “thank you.” It felt like he just wanted us out of there.
I wish I could say something redeeming, but we won’t be back. I truly don’t...
Read moreI ate at this restaurant on a Saturday night with two friends. We had to wait over an hour for our food, my friends dish arrived cold and did not taste right, no one ever apologized to us for the wait, or asked if anything was wrong with the food when my friend sent her plate back with barely two bites out of it. The waitress was extremely rude when we asked to have my friend's food removed from the bill, practically threw our boxes at us while we were counting our money to pay, and argued with us rather than apologizing when we mentioned that our food came in the wrong order and that two of us had to wait while the other sat with cold food in front of her. I have worked in food service and I am very understanding, but I have never been treated so rudely by a waitress. I also became extremely ill immediately after eating there and spent the night in the hospital. When I went back to request my money back I had to wait over 20 minutes while I heard my waitress from the night before loudly discuss me and deny my complaints to the manager. Then they requested my personal information because "Anyone can come in off the street and claim they got sick." I got my money back but I will NEVER eat here again. Dine at...
Read moreFood was bland. I've never experienced bland Thai food before. Some basil, garlic powder or pepper would've really helped. I could probably have made more flavorful fried rice at home. My husband and I waited about 20 or so minutes to get our check and to receive take out boxes while the employee helped anyone who came through the door. Simply saying I'll be right with you would've been sufficient. The most eye opening part of the dinner was my husband letting the staff know he received only one shrimp in his shrimp and chicken meal.
The staff without any apology explained that the meal actually only comes with ONE shrimp and the menu says only one shrimp. However, the menu says chicken and shrimp without explicitly stating quantity. What menu in the history of dining says shrimps? I can't imagine the thought process of cooking one shrimp for a customer charging for it and then being willing to stand by cooking one shrimp for an entree. I doubt this is even COVID- related penny pinching by how loud both employees were about this. A simple apology for the confusion would've been something. The place gets one star for the spring roll.
Last note, the...
