The worst management and staff I have ever been witness to. Quite a few employees live on site, which creates issues with the entire hotel guests and staff. There are many long-term residents in the hotel, as well as the daily/weekly guests, so the "management" tends to create "rules" that people have to follow, but are not legally allowed at a hotel. Vicki, Chuck & Asher are the ones that will harass & threaten you. They all are the type of folks that were never educated enough to do anything, so they micro manage all aspects of the motel & the long-term guests, by telling them we can't speak to each other or help each other. I explained to them that I am a paying adult, and they could not tell me who I could or couldn't speak to. This then became a "gang up" situation where they tried to blame me for other guests in the pool at the same time I was. I do not control other guests or their children. I then called the police & they trespassed me so I couldn't "do anything." Their rooms are never properly cleaned. There are cobwebs in every corner. When you check in, go move any of the furniture, and there will still be candy wrappers, dust, and crumbs everywhere. This is NOT on housekeeping, as the manager, Asher, does not provide any adequate supplies to clean the motel. The rooms also will not have working phones, so if any trouble occurs & your cell does not work, you are unable to contact the front desk or 911. Most of the lamps, tvs, ac units, microwaves, and mini fridges do not work. The only ice machine is the 2nd floor(for at least a year). This is NOT on maintenance, as the manager, Asher, does not provide replacements for anything broken or illegal. The drug addicts and dealers , as well as working women, used to be housed across Rt. 140 at the Boston Inn, that is not the case anymore. They all stay here and must be giving the management some sort of "fee" because management looks the other way to the NUMEROUS illegal activities in their motel. Theresa & the overnight front desk gentleman(Indian gentleman with glasses), the breakfast workers, housekeeping, and the maintenance staff are amazing with all the things the management has tried to "break" them with. It is truly an issue with the three "higher up" management and their inability to know how to properly run and maintain a motel that's supposed to be a hotel... it is not a hotel. Do not let the description fool you. Maybe if they didn't let Vicki live there(she will go around the hotel throughout the day, on her days off, to run and report "issues" to Chuck or Asher) Or maybe if Vicki, Chuck, and Asher actually cared about the guests instead of themselves or "spending money to better the environment of the motel" The Texas Roadhouse, next door, pays for the lighted up sign for the Days Inn, due to this, you will never find parking for a hotel room you paid for on a Friday or Saturday night. Even if you find yourself homeless or dying, you can find a better motel than this. I promise you. I have reported them to the BBB and numerous other authorities. Please don't waste your time or money at this horrible...
Read moreWARNING!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! This hotel is being ran like an hourly motel you find off of the highway for hookers. Absolutely the most disgusting hotel I’ve been to in my life!! My fiancé booked two rooms for two nights for a wedding in the Westminster area. Since we paid almost $600 for two rooms for the weekend, I was expecting it to at least be clean. In one room, there was pubic hair at the end of one of the beds tucked under the blankets, dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom floor & both beds had blood and pee stained sheets on them!! Then, in the second room, there were BED BUGS!!! My family was switched to a different room on the same floor at 2AM and THAT room had blood and pee stained sheets on BOTH beds as well! When I went to the front desk to complain about how dirty and nasty our rooms were and tell them we will not be staying a second night, we were met with attitudes and excuses. I specifically told the office manager that this is completely unacceptable and we wanted a FULL REFUND for BOTH rooms for the two nights we were supposed to stay. We were told we had to talk to the GENERAL MANAGER of that location, who wouldn’t be in until Monday. Then when we went back upstairs to our room to gather our things, the cleaning crew stood outside of my brothers room and ran their mouths talking bad about my family and myself. I guess they don’t like it when people tell the truth! When my fiancé went back downstairs to the front desk to complain about how we were being treated, the manager said “well that’s probably because you yelled at a member of the cleaning crew.” Which was a complete LIE!! Completely baffled by that remark, my fiancé was finally fed up and laughed then walked away. Obviously when Monday rolled along, he called to speak to the general manager. He was told that a full refund for both of our rooms was issued on Sunday so we should be receiving it by the end of the week. Then Thursday a deposit was posted to our account, from the hotel, but only for ONE ROOM!! So now we have to go through the motions of getting in touch with corporate again about all this. This entire thing has been the most stressful and unprofessional process I’ve ever been involved with. AGAIN DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO FIGHT FOR YOUR MONEY BACK AND DEAL WITH BED BUGS...
Read moreChecked in with Theresa who is the BEST quality of this hotel. Rooms were small, toilet ran all night, beds didn't fit on the frame which left metal exposed so all 3 of us banged our feet on them. Booked for 3 nights. And then rebooked for 7 more. Theresa was AWESOME. went down to the desk the next evening to let them know that my Emotional support/Service animal had arrived and the man told me to "let the staff in the morning deal with it". All 3 of us came down with the flu so we had to rush to urgent care, causing me to put off a conversation with the front desk about my service animal. We received a call while at urgent care that our animal wasn't allowed. Our neighbors left a note on our door letting us know that 2 men had entered our room while we were gone. I never got the chance to explain that we had a service animal and we were not refunded for the 1 night we had remaining. Federal and state laws protect service animals and although we are not required to provide "paperwork" or even notify any hotels I always carry proof. Really disappointing. We are long term guests because our house isn't ready. Really wish the front desk would have just had a conversation with me. Service animals are exempt from paying pet fees at hotels but we would have gladly paid one. A few other points: Good- has a washer and dryer guests can use (costs money) Good- decent breakfast Good- Theresa needs a raise! Negative- really small rooms Negative- floors were dirty I had to buy my own Broom and mop to clean Negative- rude employees Negative- hallway smelled like urine and cigarette smoke Negative- not enough towels Negative- employees entering the room while we were at urgent...
