Really..i dont care anymore how cheap it is to buy my favorite food..Kabocha squash..aka Japanese pumpkin here.The rude ass ladies here are a disgrace..I AM SORRY THAT I AM A 6 FT TALL WHITE LADY..and that i had the nerve to come and spend my money in ur workplace..seriously..yesterday..i ccame to buy 6 kabochas..3 heads cauliflower.i also brought an backpack..beccause i walked my dog..and tbh even tho my dog is great dane..she is TERRIFIED of plastic bags..so..i brought an empty back pack..2 evil ass ladies FIRST OFF REFUSED TO LET ME USE ANY SHOPPING CART..AND THEN ..CAME RUNNING BEHIND ME..AMD PHYSICALLY GRABBING ME..SNATCHED MY BACKPACK OFF ME..and seriously embarrased me until i cried..i did not understand ANYTHING THEY SAID AT FIRST .but the dirty looks they gave me were pretty easy to decode..oh that ..and the 2 words I COULD UNDERSTAND..WHITE TRASH..becuz they said those words in english..seriously ..if u happen to be Caucasian..skip this joint..its filthy and smalls bad anyways..and trust me..THEY DO NOT WANT UR MONEY HERE..save urself the aggravation of BLATANT REVERSE RACISM..and go to one of the clean asian groceries in Garden grove..where they are kind to white people..and. will accept you hey.!Shun Fat market mangment...i will be contacting an attorney this week.. If i treated any minority this way..as a HUGE TALL WHITE LADY WITH BLONDE HAIR..IT WOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE ..PERIOD.. SURPRISE!AMERICA IS FOR ME TOO ..i will nevr go here again..except one time ..when i come in with at LEAST 10 OTHER WHITES..WITH BACKPACKS...except ..they are all HUGE BEARDED WHITE MEN..wonder if these racists willbe as bold when its not one lone lady ..coming to buy veggies...SHAME ON U SHUN FAT MARKET .u guys need to get with...

In my experience, the most rude, unknowledgeable, unwilling to help workers of the Asian markets in the Westminster/ Garden Grove/Santa Ana area.

First Time: Once I asked if they had a product, a certain vegetable. I looked up the product in Vietnamese and Chinese online to show them ahead of time with picture and word. And she said...I don't speak English. And I was showing her the picture and word in Vietnamese and Chinese on my phone. She waved her hand to hit my hand and phone away and said...I don't speak English. Completely rude and unnecessary; also, no reason to physically contact a person and their belongings.

Second Time: I probably had 20 items or less. I was checking out and the cashier took a very long time. She scanned everything and took some products back to rescan and recheck herself and then she voided a few and rescanned and checked a few more and voided more. I wasn't sure why she kept doing that and figured, maybe she thought she scanned something wrong. The customers behind me were leaving to other lines because she was taking a long time. After the receipt printed I asked to check it because I had no clue what she was doing and why it took so long. Cashier and I continued to check my products with the receipt and supervisor/manager woman came over and snatched the pen and receipt and yelled... you don't check, let me check! She yelled at the cashier and motioned to the cashier to continue checking out the customers behind me. Then yelled at me that everything has been voided and she angrily walked...

This place has a pretty good selection. I've been going here for years. If you are not asian... & the "right type of asian". (Witch means you are not americanized at all in any way. Also that you come from their specific region of the wotld) be prepared to have at least 1 out of 3 employees openly racist & hostile to you. I recorded 1guys antics on my phone because he was so over the top. When I showed it to the supervisor she just made excuses for him. Saying "yeah he is being a extremists racist & trying to violently attack you... but you know... that's how some people are...". Then a younger employee who over heard the whole thing asked why I didn't just beat the old guy up. I said "just because he is a violent racist doesn't mean being violent back to him will help" he said he thought it might teach him a lesson & it was about time sombody did. So all in all is you like west asian food & are willing to keep your head down & be treated like a black person in the 1950's in the south this is the store fore you. If you stand up for your self at all & don't want to get into a fight?...
