You literally cannot beat the value for money at this place. Not only are they the cheapest Bahn Mi’s I’ve seen but they are huge and are packed full of quality ingredients. The staff are extremely nice and always welcome you with a smile.
I have been going here for over a year and have been hesitant to leave a review because it’s the best kept secret in HB/Westminster but I can’t deny people of this amazing place any longer.
Additionally, they have an insane deal where if you purchase two Bahn Mi’s on a roll, you get a 3rd free. Cost comes out to about $4 per roll which is better value for money then you will get anywhere hands down!
The baguettes/rolls are baked fresh behind the counter and you can taste it in every bite.
Truly an authentic and delicious Bahn Mi. Please try it, you will not be disappointed! Would give this place 6...
Read moreA decent bahn mi in the bustling Little Saigon of the LA suburb Westminster. Because it is located in Little Saigon, there is a lot of competition for a great bahn mi. There's wasn't the greatest, but one I would try again. Sandwiches are $6.50 each and come in two sizes; round and baguette.
Pros: Plenty of parking as it is located in a strip center. The bread of the banh mi was good. Toasted on outside and chewy on inside. Buy 2 get 1 free for their sandwiches on round bread! Shun Fat Asian grocery store is next door so you can pop in to shop there.
Cons: Very little shredded carrots were on our sandwiches. A lot of shredded daikon, but needs to be a better proportion of veggies.
A decent banh mi worth trying if in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat there with all the other banh mi shops available in...
Read moreBy far the best banquet and banh mi or Vietnamese sandwiches. Banh Mi is like all sandwiches, about 50% of it is the bread. So when the bread isn't good then you have 50% of what makes up the dish bad. The bread here is freshly made. It's light, airy, and thin crest but it's fluffy enough and crunchy enough that it's memorable. It's flavored just right too. Some places it's a bit on the sour taste for me and some it's too bland, some it's a bit too sweet. This one is just the right flavor that goes so well for sandwich making. The best part, you freeze it, then put it in the oven for reheat and it's just as good as freshly baked. So it keeps well for overtime. Highly recommend the round bread or banquets. I think it's better than Lee's or Banh Mi Che Cali. Lee's bread is more French and this one is...
