I've been eyeing this place every since I started looking for beignets close to home, but I'm soooo lazy that I never wanted to drive here. Well my dealership is a block away and while I was chilling in the waiting area I pulled up my good old Yelp app and saw that this place was .2 miles away. I jumped up and started walking over. I really just wanted to have some beignets but I was so hungry because I didn't eat anything so far I also ordered a bbq pork banh mi and a order of the classic power sugar beignets. The banh mi was really good, it kind of surprised me. They didn't put mayonnaise in it (I'm anti-mayonnaise), but I believe I saw butter and bits of garlic that made me fall in love. I thought I was ordering 1 beignet that would be donut size but it was a huge order of smaller triangle sized ones. Fresh out of the fryer they are made to order and came out hot and oh so delicious. Way too many for me to eat and I was starved, but I managed to eat about half. When I left I had to take the leftovers home and the guy at the counter said that he was actually impressed by how many I ate(not sure if that was a fat joke). Great service and it looks like they remodeled the place, it's hip/trendy paint job decor.
Way too many beignets. I don't know if I should complain about this but I would love to see a smaller portion at a lower price.
Scratch another place off my long list of bookmarks. This will be my go to place when ever I take my car to get service. Solid food and service. Don't tell anybody but the female clientele and employees are pretty cute. Totally worth grabbing some tea/coffee and...

I’m someone who typically loves Lynda’s Sandwich Shop and their Bahn Mi. In fact, I’ve never had an issue with their food or staff before, but my recent visit on 10/23 was an unfortunate exception.
I came in around 3:30 p.m. and placed an order for four chicken sandwiches with egg and extra special sauce. The cashier asked, “Four Lynda’s Specials?” Assuming that “Lynda’s Special” meant what I described (chicken, egg, and extra special sauce), I said yes.
However, when I got home, I realized the sandwiches were incorrect. None of them had chicken or egg, so I drove back to the shop to explain the mistake. When I informed the cashier, he told me that if I wanted the correct sandwiches, I’d have to pay again. I calmly explained that I had already paid for four sandwiches and that I just wanted the ones I ordered.
The cashier stood firm, saying I confirmed the “Lynda’s Special” and that was what I received, so my options were to either take the sandwiches or pay for another set. I got frustrated at this point and insisted they either refund my money or remake the sandwiches I had originally asked for.
After a tense back-and-forth, he eventually agreed to remake the sandwiches, but only "this one time." While I appreciated that he finally resolved the issue, it was an unnecessarily difficult situation, and the customer service was disappointing.
To make matters worse, after the argument, I didn’t feel comfortable eating the sandwiches I’d gotten. I genuinely don’t enjoy raising my voice or having confrontations like this, and I don’t plan on returning to Lynda’s...
Read moreWe came in just before 6pm on a Sunday and I had the most bizarre experience. My group ordered 6 Banh Mi to go and then I asked if they could pack 2 bags of the Thai waffle cookies in a hard plastic container so that I could pack them in luggage. They answered "no, we don't do that." So the business missed out on almost $20 of sales or more because the staff would not use one of their plastic containers. Then I asked for beignets and cashier told me that it would be a 20 minute wait and I said no problem. But then the manager came out and said no. No we're not doing beignets were sold out. So that was obvious that they just didn't want to make them for us even though it was still an hour before closing....ok.... That's nice. So after a 5-minute wait we received our Banh mi. I ordered the barbecue pork. It was average at best. The meat was thinly sliced and not plentiful. They were really stingy on the pickled veggies as well. I asked for jalapenos and I counted three thinly sliced pieces. I hear that this place is owned by a famous Vietnamese singer. The place is decorated pretty cool and eclectic, but the furniture looks dingy, dusty, dirty and really needs to be replaced. There are many autographed pictures of celebrities around the place which is totally awesome!! You could tell that someone once took pride in the little cafe but with the bad management and generally unfriendly service, it must be a struggling business...
