From the outside, the hotel looked nice. The lobby seemed nice. There seemed to be some older bits of the building left (it appears they partially gutted and remodeled an older hotel. I have no idea of the history of the building, just guessing from other hotels where I know they did the same.) There were paper signs taped to the wall informing us to push up to call the elevator, which was odd. The room seemed, again, like a partially gutted and then spruced up room. Paint was peeling, wood was swollen and chipping. The plumbing fixtures needed replacing: the drain in the sink was missing most of the plating and had no stopper or anything to prevent something like a wedding ring from falling in The drain stopper in the tub was not attached to anything, so it was just sitting in the tub. Again, nothing in the tub drain to keep anything from falling down the drain. Kind of scary if your ring is loose at all. The soap dish in the shower was useless as it was tilted at an angle, and corroded from age. The temperature of the shower was difficult to regulate to something usable. Shutting it off so it wouldn't drip all night was hard, it felt like it was loose inside. The tub drain was not draining well, and when my wife went to shower, she ended up standing in water. There are no blackout curtains, just some partial shades. So if you're looking to sleep at all when the sun is up, you may be out of luck. The air conditioning worked well. The bed, while firm, was fairly comfortable. Someone near our room was smoking. When we walked back on to our floor at the end of the night, there was a strong odor of cigarettes in the hallway outside the room. When we went down in the morning to check out, we were informed that the breakfast service we had opted to pay for was unavailable due to plumbing issues. They removed that charge from out bill, and we went to get breakfast elsewhere. For the money, I felt like I could have expected a hotel that was nicer than a chain motel. However, it felt like I was staying in a run down chain motel. Just with a nice lobby. People working were nice enough. Across the street was a nice shopping center with a Costco, and quite a few nice dining options. Don't think I can recommend staying here, especially for the money they charge per night. We booked here because it looksed nice in the pictures, and was close to where we were...
Read moreExecutive Summary: don't stay here for the esthetic (lack there of) or experience. It was a nice start. The check in staff were friendly enough, the lobby seemed trendy/clean and they even had a very nice assortment of individually wrapped reception candies. But that is where my good reviews end. We approached the elevators and entered the one on the far right. This was a mistake. This elevator was in drastic need of aesthetic renovation. The ceiling of the elevator had open ballast lights and a plywood ceiling with a very poor paint job to try to disguise it. Then we got to our floor (floor 5) and on the wall to the left of the air conditioner in the hallway, there was what appeared to be black mold! We entered our room and there were two queen beds, as promised. However, there were multiple white spots on a dark blue wall where the paint was chipping off, a light with a broken shade, and there were no doors on the closet (I guess this was intentional). To describe the room in a word, dilapidated comes to mind. The bathroom wasn't much better. With chipping wood accents, scratchy towels and a lack of a drain stopper...I forged forward with my stay. The beds were hard, the walls were paper thin and according to a couple I met during my stay, they were "upgraded" to a different room because their original room didn't have working hot water. When I went down for breakfast, I discovered the hard way that you have to have paid for breakfast vouchers for $8 per person upon check in. Which would have been fine, had we been informed of this upon check in. If you don't buy the voucher then, it jumps to $14/person. We tried speaking to the front desk about it and they said that their records showed that they informed us of the voucher program, which they did not. Regardless, from what I had saw of the breakfast buffet, it was the following: mini muffins, toast, bagels, cereals (both hot and cold), orange juice, tea, coffee, potatoes, eggs (scrambled and hard boiled) bacon, sausage, and pancakes. We discovered that there is a plethora of alternate eateries in the area that were actually worth the money. I can say that I have stayed in a range of hotels and this was not exactly what I was expecting it to be...I hope that management can address these issues to hopefully provide a better experience than...

My family stayed here in July 2017. On the plus side, they had decent pancakes, the front desk staff was polite, and the lobby was nice.
The lobby is a disguise!!!!!!!
None of the amenities are functional, the indoor pool has green tint and stains on the bottom, the fitness center is more of a storage unit for broken equipment, only one floor had a working ice machine, the dryer was hit and miss. Only one of the three elevators is working and there is a sign stating push the up button to go down. The elevator door closes abruptly and slammed shut on my teenage sons arm, then later on my daughters. It drops like the Tower of Terror ride. There was wall paper peeling off the window areas in the common hallways, and the air conditioner units were unplugged. The ceiling in the lobby had a leak on the second day of our stay, they had some buckets and towels to catch the water, but no wet floor signs. Which was shocking, because they have signs everywhere noting their broken down, dilapidated junk
On to the rooms... It looks like they've done some painting in an effort to give the hotel a boutique type look to go along with the lobby, but no upgrades to the sinks, fixtures, or bedding have been made. The sheets and duvet were a dingy grayish tone and looked worn out. Behind the bed was absolute filth. There was some sort of dry fluid drip marks on the wall. The soap dish was broken in the shower, the doorknob in the bathroom was broken, the caulking around the sink was dry cracking and lifting. The room was worth maybe half what we paid for it, even less if you take into account the lack of amenities. Let's not forget to mention the condoms they sell in the vending machine. Now I come from Las Vegas and never in all my life have I seen condoms sold in the hotel floor in the same vending machine as the chips. Try explaining to your 6 year old why they can't have the Trojan candies.
They offer free WiFi that is garbage! If you're going on business or have anything important to get done, you're in trouble. I've added some photos. According to the other reviews I've seen this has been an ongoing issue for the better...
