Really cool place above the Metro theatre. Great atmosphere, good beer selection, friendly service. But pricey, but that may be the norm for the area. Enjoyed the plentiful TV screens, a few classic arcade games, and shuffle board.

Great bands & they're free. Friendly people. The place is busy. Not enough wait staff - better chance at getting a drink from the crowded bar.

On the 3rd floor of the Metropolis building downtown Arlington Heights. Big place has 3 bars a couple of different rooms to hang out and play arcade games. There’s no specials on drinks except for Sunday football domestic craft beers while the game is on other than that it’s all full price. It’s a great looking place especially in the summer when the patio is open. There are no servers so you have to order at the bar for drinks. They don’t have a kitchen so there’s no food but you can order to be delivered to the bar. Monday’s and Tuesday’s are closed to the public but open for reserved private parties. Best days to go is pretty much up to you whether your winding down from a hard days or weeks work. Sunday’s are dead days with a handful of patrons. Saturday is the busiest night but also depends on the weather. It’s a cool place to check out but not to go on a regular basis the athmosphere just isn’t there. It’s not a place I would recommend for singles more for couples and groups. Single ladies didn’t even waste your time thinking your gonna Pick up a guy here and have him buy you drinks go to a neighborhood bar for that. This place is more of a planned out place to go to with friends families or couple. It’s comparable to a Dave and busters feel. Hope this helps...

Are you aware that Arlington Alehouse keeps an IMAGE of your Driver's License? There's a subtle posting on their wall advising of it. Do you know what any common criminal can do with an image of your ID? It has your legal name, address, Date of Birth & License #...the keys to the kingdom of your life. Yet, A.Alehouse refuses to delete it when you leave, claiming they can't. This defintely benefits them in some way, yet puts our identity at risk. Once an image is captured, it is on the web forever. The guy who checks IDs has a little scanner to capture an image of it. Doesn't tell you he's doing it. I've been to 300+ restaurants/bars. No one has EvEr scanned my ID. Arlington Alehouse claims to delete it in 3 days. NO proof of that, no regulation. They could be selling our IDs "underground/dark web" for big $Bucks. Identity theft? Draining of your bank accounts? Mortgages taken out in your name? If you want that, go to Arlington Alehouse where you have no frickin' clue the REAL reason they copy your ID, or what they are Reeallly...

It was a cool place but a few issues. The floors and bar were incredibly sticky. My shoes were almost stuck. It was early when I went so it seems they don’t do daily mopping near the bar. The outside has barely any lighting. The string lighting seemed like it was turned all the way down. The TV was the only main light source. And it was 61 degrees out and chilly, we couldn’t turn the fire table on because they were out of propane. I always order a Moscow mule wherever I go and the one that they made has a very strong taste of licorice, very off. Not a mule. Also until I needed a glass of water I didn’t realize they were so stingy. Incredibly disappointing that they insist on you buying a bottle of water. It costs you nothing to push that water button. In the 20+ years I’ve been going to bars/clubs/restaurants I’ve never been denied a glass of water. I was dehydrated. So bad for the environment with all those bottles of water. That disturbed...
