Hanifl Performing Arts Center — Attraction in White Bear Lake

We are long-time patrons of the Lakeshore Players Theatre and are always delighted with their fresh productions, amazing and talented actors/directors and the creativity and versatility! Absolutely loved the madcap and zany "Mystery of Irma Vep" done this season and was impressed and intrigued with their recent "The Rabbit Hole" drama. Stellar performances by the entire cast with roses to all involved to tackle a play of this magnitude....and fittingly appropriate as the last play in the playhouse of 47 years! A play about loss and death with parallels to new beginnings.....an intelligent and frank treat ...and we are richer for it.

If you are not familiar with their 10-minute plays ( for those with short attention span) please give yourself a treat and attend this event coming up...

We saw La Cage Aux Folles. OMG, the talent Lakeshore Players finds is outstanding. We love the theater experience at Hanifl Performing Arts Center. The seats are very comfortable. The atmosphere is welcoming. Free parking. They allow patrons to purchase a glass of wine or pop and bring it into the theater. They even have cup holders. (Thank you!) Attended "I Am My Own Wife" on Sat nite. I walked out of there thinking " this is why I go to the theater", "this is why theater is so important". The play was excellent, informative, provocative. The actor was amazing--playing many roles, variety of accents, individualizing each role so audience wouldn't be confused. I love the intimacy of the black box theatre.
