Very nice, open park at the heart of White Bear Lake. The park is located on Lake Avenue just a few blocks from the downtown restaurant and shopping district. There is boat access to the lake and ample parking. The park is very spacious with shade trees, picnic tables and a nice gazebo. There are public restrooms available but no playground. If you are looking for a spot with a playground, then I'd recommend the Ramsey County Beach further up the lake (accessed from Hwy 96, north of town). Read moreMy dog and I love stopping here in the midst of a jog. There is a trail going down the length of Lake Ave, a trail looping the park, and a trail leading to Manitou Island. The gazebo is a nice view point and the water, of course. The bathrooms are usually pretty clean and there's trash receptacles everywhere. The dog beach is just a short stroll from here.
