Celena did my session we did two on my arm. I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH!!! Shes a pro through and through. She was so efficient and fast AND yet so graceful and detail oriented. She went with me on some ideas/adjustments I was wanting and others she educated and informed me why some of my ideas wouldn’t be in my best interest as she didn’t want to overwork my skin. She was so right. She has such an intuitive relationship with skin and her craft, she knows just how to treat everyone’s skin who comes into her chair. My skin is thinner and more sensitive and she could easily clock that and she made decisions that respected and protected my individual skin. She has such a magic for this art. Also the shop is super clean and welcoming and just overall lovely and cool. You can tell a lot of work and money went into making it what it is today. I got a tat there almost 10 years ago and let’s just say you can tell women take care of the space nowadays haha. It used to be quintessential grimy “tuff guy” tattoo shop aesthetic. That version of this place is a distant memory now. The management and ownership has done this place justice 100 times over. It’s clean and comfortable. The bathroom is nice and clean too. There are several thoughtful amenities too like a free drink fridge with water and juice and stuff. Celena’s studio is even better. She’s got her art all over the walls and there’s pretty crystals and plants and it’s a really soothing environment that feels private but not too closed off. Anyways Celena did everything I asked for and more. She’s such a sweet person and talented professional. She let me be part of the collaboration process and she let me know the boundaries that she as a professional knows so I didn't make a uninformed poor decision that would look weird when translated onto the skin. She looks out for your best interest even if it means respectfully shooting down an idea she knows won’t work and she explained why and I got to learn more from her. Overall 100/10 experience. I learned, I hung out, and I had the best time watching this master at work. What a gift! Plus of course my tattoos look amazing. I keep catching myself in the mirror like “who is that sexy lady w the pretty tattoos ?👀”. They’re healing perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. Celena will be my artist as long as we both shall live lol. 🫡 if you’re thinking about getting a tattoo get ur butt on the schedule over here, it’s...
Read moreI have had work done at a few other places and after having kind of a flaky experience, I really wanted to find a woman artist and one that really suited my style. I looked a long time, and then I came across Celena on Instagram, and it was magical. Everything she posted I could see inked on me somewhere. I started off with her with small little things since it's hard to get an appointment with her. But after just finishing my shoulder, I'm madly in love and wouldn't ever go anywhere else.
I love her little studio space for starters. And she is honestly one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Their shop is cleaner than any shop I've been to, and I love that they just shuffle their playlist so you get a an array of music playing and not just death metal.
I brought my 70-year-old mom in for her first tattoo and my daughter for her 18th birthday got her first! I only wish I could be more spontaneous and pop in when I'm in the mood because that's how I am. But booking appointments two months in advance it totally worth the wait. Tattoos for life for me...
Read moreI worked with Celena on a tattoo that had a lot of meaning to it. She was very professional to work with. When I showed up for my appointment (after a snow storm) she was very welcoming. Throughout the tattoo she was relatable, made me feel relaxed, and we had a few good laughs. I absolutely love my piece, and my family and friends do too. I would definitely recommend this shop, and Celena as an artist, to anyone who asks me for recs on a shop going forward. The shop was also clean, music to set the tone, and comfortable.
Will update with a healed picture when I'm all healed up. But for now, these 2 pics are a...
