Fantastic place for a movie! Nice staff, real popcorn and BUTTER!
One downside... we were there for a matinee of Maestro (i.e., a movie where the audio really matters). A number of cell phones went off at various times. It was clear the very-senior people who owned the phones didn't know that it was their phones. And, twice someone else would point it out, followed by "I don't know how to use my phone...".
The next time I go, I'll be sure to ask the people around me if they'd like help muting their phones before the feature starts. And, also will ask the staff to make that request as people enter...

I only wish for their sake, that management posted clearly outside that this is a non-profit theater, owned by the community (this was announced on screen before the movie): It would have prompted me to support the theater at the concession stand. Read moreThere's a reason that this theater is more than a hundred years old! Everything is clean and nice and all of the staff are helpful and kind. The snacks are organic and many are local, and they have beer and wine. The movies very between tastefully chosen arthouse flicks and popular selections, all of them fun. You can't do better to kill a rainy afternoon or take a date to then this...
