(Review from Pre-Pandemic experiences) I had very mixed feelings on this place that have unfortunately turned more negative. I do very much appreciate that it’s one of the few activity places to do something around here for kids and realize the very real risks involved with deciding to participate. I still would like to see better, more engaged supervision and monitoring to ensure as best as humans can that the jumpers are jumping within safe limits (rather than the basic ‘No Running’ that is often called out).
My daughter had been there dozens of times, attended a few parties there over the years and we have a trampoline of our own at home. Even still, trampolines are notorious for causing accidents and at her last visit in January 2020 she badly sprained her ankle and tore a ligament from jumping off of the highest point in the building at the end of an obstacle type course. In the ER afterward it was both shocking and yet not surprising that every person who spoke to us and treated her (over the coming months as well) just nodded their heads when we said Get Air. They said they see people practically every day from that place.
I have loved bringing the toddler and preschool set here - but only on the special Toddler Times (9-11) on Tuesday and Thursday mornings where they have the run of the place. We all give that 5⭐️for a place to go on a rainy day to let them run around like crazy, climb, slide and build with the huge foam blocks!
It also happens to be one of the handful of places for Tweens/Teens to hang out and be active but there are additional things to be wary of given their ages: Inappropriate Behavior/Supervision. Had some disturbing experiences with the time they set aside for the older kids on Friday and Saturday nights called Club Air (9-11/12 I think). They play their music (very loudly) and it’s very dark throughout. I get the vibe they are going for and the space these kids want - yet there just hasn’t been enough staff members present on the floor and visible during the few times we’ve attended. Staff need to make themselves known and move ALL around the building to ALL of the dark corners so that the kids are aware that they are being watched and that any moment there will be someone coming by to check on what they are up to so they don’t have long periods of time to get into trouble, ect. I’ve stayed to observe and while intending to stay out of the way, I ended up making the rounds myself quite a bit - often surprising kids who may have needed to move on to doing something more publicly appropriate.
I would love to think that it could be salvaged and become a great place for older kids to gather and dance (it was sparsely attended the times we were there). But in order for people to be willing to bring their kids there we have to know and feel that it will be a safe, well managed and supervised event not feel that it’s a free...
Read moreNormally I really enjoy bringing the kids here. Super fun way to spend an hour. But, I recently made the mistake of bringing the kids over school vacation. We arrived right at opening time and shortly after cars kept piling up, and even school buses. Apparently they dont stop accepting people when they are over capacity! (A staff member confided this in me when I asked what their cut-off was.) About a half hour into our time, it was impossible to safely jump on the trampolines. Staff was also too lazy/overwhelmed at that point to do anything about kids not following safety rules. Pick a slow day if you are going.
Addendum: We gave it another shot on a slow day. Got there at 9:15am with two eager kids. I knew from google that they did not open til 10am. Well after waiting 45 minutes we get in to find out they have a special "toddler time" from 10-noon!!! My kids are not toddlers, so we were turned away, after driving 45 minutes... and waiting 45 minutes more. I'm all for them having a special time for young kids, but you have to go looking through their website to know the park is shut down to everyone but toddlers at special times. Call me crazy, but it's a business catering to kids. You don't expect to show up with your kids and get turned away if they are open. That would be a like a museum being only open to girls on Tuesdays. "Oh, you didn't check the website for that? Well... it's clearly stated." The employee says he turns people away often. No *&$% sherlock. No one expects a kid business to only cater to some kids some of the time. The park already has a toddler section, why the special hours? Also, I paid online for my two kids. Special deal, two juniors get a discount between 10am and noon. (that's right, toddler time tues and thurs) Great. No confirmation email with the special code to prove you bought it. This also happened to a friend of ours. Apparently they have little interest in resolving this issue. You can see it mentioned often in reviews going months back. The place is just run poorly. To their credit, the jump area was in good shape and it looked like they had addressed some pads which were looking worn the last time...
Read moreLots of kids just running around with no care in the world...They have a younger section for smaller kiddos...an indoor swing that goes into a foam pit...2 trampolines that you can jump into foam pits...a ladder to climb over a foam pit...dodge ball type zone...basketball area..and like a ninja training center right in the middle of the place. You can also have lunch or a party there as they have tables to sit at...and only vending machines...so bring a snack or your lunch.
Now don't get me wrong I bring my kids to blow off extra energy but they are not running around throwing balls all over the park and eating on the trampolines...there usually is maybe 2 people working there and they are usually at the counter...so no one there is really in forcing safe play but parents....but it is a great place for kids to burn off their extra energy.
All and all my kids love to go and jump and run around....they even played tag with a few kids the last time we went... but not a fan of being hit with a balls while sitting in the regular trampoline area🤦♀️...but at the same time kids are kids and they are going to play 🤷🏻♀️ maybe I was it 🤣🤣🤣 and I didn't even know I was playing.
Definitely would at least try it once anyway....but they are a first come first serve establishment and when kids are out of school and the weekends tend to be super busy and fill up fast...we have had to leave a few times in the past because there were just too many people. You can also order tickets and sign your waiver online to help speed the process up.
I hope you go and have a good time P.s. you also need grip socks and they sell them there. Have the best time, I know...
