The people that work here are rude. Not all of them but most of them. I get treated poorly EVERY TIME I come here which is 4-5 days a week. Prices are wrong. It's a mess. The csm are rude and in willing to help. They refuse to match prices that is on the shelf oh it's scanning at this price so too bad. Well, that's false advertising. They don't care but what's worse is go back a week later and the tag is still there! So, I buy the item again, t inking they fixed in their system, nope, a different csm honored it because that is what you're supposed to do! It's policy! And illegal to false advertise a certain price and not honor it. Today, 12-12-18 went in to use my digital gift card...someone new, I should have known, but got told nope can not do this. Needs to be actual card...uh no, it doesnt! I've used digital gift cards every time I am there, 4-5 days a week! Csm comes over says nope need actual card, I said it is not a credit card, it is a digital gift card, another csm just entered the number yesterday, nope, too bad t st say can't do it. I have not complained about any of these issues because I work retail, I know it can be rough, but every time I come into this one they are rude and do not honor the price discrepancies. Not my fault. I shouldn't be made to feel like I am the bad guy, and I shouldn't have to fight or complain for the products I want to buy. It's ridiculous! I get nasty looks from these people and treated so poorly in all my years this is the worst walmart employees ever. There are maybe 5 or 6 that are awesome, but only 2 work up front...and rarely when I go in...i hate this store. The manager needs to clean house and get that beauty section cleaned up. And re train their employees of customer service ethics...and policies.i know more about walmarts policies then they do! I'm tired of arguing with these people when I shouldn't have to. It makes me embarrassed, and look like a jerk and it's...

Had another return (online order) and this time the (new) employee at the Returns Dept. rolled his eyes and groaned when I placed my returns on the counter. That’s why I don’t shop at that store anymore and only go there when strictly necessary.
CHRISTMAS EVE around 2pm (my most recent visit): I needed to exchange two garments (gifts) for a larger size. I was by myself at the RETURN counter (no line). I had the two items to be exchanged + the other two I needed (very same item but different size). The associate working there at the time (I’ve seen her at the “Returns” counter other times) was clearly NOT happy to be working on Christmas Eve (I wouldn’t either but that’s part of the job). Anyway, she simply YELLS at me “I don’t do exchanges!” (which I wasn’t aware of because I’ve been to other Walmart stores that do). I insisted that it was for the very same items, just different sizes. And she YELLED again “I don’t do exchanges. I give your money back and you go buy whatever you want”. Well, I have worked in Customer Service oriented jobs my entire life. Worked several Thanksgivings, Christmas Eves and Christmasses all along. And never took it on other people by yelling at them or being rude. I do understand the understaffing issues, maybe you had a bad day and it was Christmas Eve, but Customer Service skills do go a LONG WAY. Thank you Walmart for being there for us (it’s the only store in town) but maybe this associate needs to work on her attitude and how to deal with customers in a more polite manner. MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄
3 MONTHS AGO This was the very first time after the pandemic that I went to a Walmart. Sadly, I was a little disappointed. Empty shelves all over the store, very understaffed and not a lot of...
Read moreFor a Wal-Mart, the location in Williston Vermont is pretty nice. Shelves are well stocked, the store is a bit chaotic but is kept clean. This most recent visit was made to return a defective TV wall mount for a curved panel TV that was purchased at another Wal-Mart. We needed a TV mount for a project we were working on, and hoped to get a different brand that would work on the client's television. Unfortunately, this store's selection was smaller than the store where we purchased the original item, and we had to take a chance and purchase the same item, hoping it was a manufacturer defect and not the usual construction of the item. We went to the service desk and asked if we could open the box and check the piece, but were told we couldn't open packaging (remove safety straps and such) unless we purchased the item first. We WERE allowed to do that at the counter, so we paid for the mount and opened the box. To our joy, it was fine and we COULD just walk out. However, the assistant who was working a very busy desk took an interest and was very kind, helpful, offered scissors to open packaging and smiled a genuine smile at our joy. I believe his name was Tom (or Tim) and HE was a living version of the Wal-Mart employee in the television commercials. Though not my favorite location to shop at, I have been in many Wal-Marts and can say that this location is leaps and bounds above many others. Staff is always helpful and parking...
