Large recreation area with jungle gym, shaded picnic areas and rest rooms, and other smaller areas around the lake. Plenty of tradh receptacles and poop stations for dogs. A Mary Poppins-esque gardenscape with fountain and paths near the big footbridge which is indefinitely closed for repairs. A boat ramp is available with a 3hp motor limit, but generally mostly canoeists and paddle boaters use the lake. No gator sightings, but lots of signage not to feed or hassle. Read moreThe lake itself is beautiful and in the past few years a lot of effort has been made to upkeep however there is still a vast amount of litter in places and the bathrooms are just plain disgusting, I know this is to be expected of public areas but walking into the bathroom with my two young daughters and finding graphic graffiti is ridiculous not to mention I'd rather use the bathroom on myself then go near the stalls, this is beyond ridiculous. They also have paddle boats and canoeing they range is price from $10 a person or $ 15 for a canoe I believe for an hour . The one thing about the park is that there are a lot of homeless people that stay there,they all stay to together and they seem to be harmless. I take my 6 year old son there to play on the playground it has a nice variety of children there and everyone gets along and plays together...
