Mermaid Syrena entertainment for parties & eventsMermaid Syrena entertainment for parties & events
Oh my sea pearls! What a mer-ific experience to see the new Little Mermaid Movie at The Pointe 14. Shello, I'm Mermaid Syrena & I swam over to watch my friend, Ariel on the big screen. We don't have movie theaters under the sea, this was a treat! It's wonderful to have an affordable movie theater ticket price when we are living in very difficult times. I don't have many sand dollars to spare but hoping that it'll all get better in the human world. I hope that you will enjoy your experience here, as well. The facilities were neat & clean. And the manager answered all of my questions. This is the 1st attribute that I look for in an establishment, no matter on land or underwater. I know what you must all be thinking, did I drink any water while I was at the movie theater? No, no, no...I didn't have a mermaid tail transformation while watching the movie but it was mer-tastic to be in human form to see all of the movie magic on screen. Customer Service=A+ Cleanliness-A+

First time at this theater for a 3D showing. While not quite IMAX 3D, the 3D PDX is pretty good! Large screen is laser and crisp with exceptional saturation and color range. The sound however is MASSIVE—clear with great mids and lows that you can literally feel. Seats were clean and new looking, and the place didn't smell like an old carpet. Tickets were priced less than a comparable 3D showings at other theaters (about $14 for kids, $17 adults). They also have military and as student discounts at the box office. Note, you can buy tickets online, but no discounts, and no reserved seating. Lastly, concessions were pretty light, but you don't go to movie theaters to eat, do you? That's it. Now go see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. 🙅🏾‍♂️

Had an awful experience at the consessions. My friend and I ordered the large popcorn and 2 med. drinks. We asked if the drink was free refill she said no only the large were free refill. So we said oh OK no problem, so how much ARE the refills? She responded with you can't get refills....huh? You can't pay extra to get a refill? Odd...I was asking her why and she says they just don't do it, only for the large ones. By this time the manager walks over and says the same thing. I was really not understanding as we wanted to be able to get refills of course. He made a rude remark "didn't you hear her say you couldn't get refills on anything but a large?" Ummm actually no. That's not what she said. She said you could only get FREE refills on the large. Nothing about not being able to refill a different size. So he kept arguing with me and we walked away upset. We get to the butter station and my friend says why don't you just get a refund for what we just got and then order the larges so that we CAN get the refills. So I walked back over and spoke with a different gentleman as the other 2 were busy. We told him what we wanted to do and he says "well we can just upcharge you to the large combo for $1.75 and then it would all be free refill" ARE YOU SERIOUS!??? That's literally all that the lady AND manager had to say from the get go. But no. Neither one of them offered that option to us. The manager should have most definitely tried to fix the situation instead of standing there arguing with me over $1.75....shame. lousy management. Thank you Benjamin for clearing things up for us and bringing that to our attention. The whole mess could have been avoided had that been said...

Compared to the theater at Mayfair, this one starts off two steps behind the competition by lacking in a few areas that make Mayfair worth the money and trip. To start, you cannot reserve seats, which is a big letdown for 2018. Second on the list is the poor seating compared to Mayfair. For some reason someone decided that crunching the seats and levels over one another within 20" of space would be fine, it not only is much less comfortable than the recliners that Regal delivers, you are also much more condensed. I was kicked in the back of my chair twice in 30 minute by people simply wanting to go to the restroom or concession stand, so don't lean back in your seat unless you dont mind having things spilled on you or run the risk of someone falling on top of you. Third on the list is the condition of those seats, which are less than a year old at this time of writing. The cup holders are already showing bubbles & warping on the finish which makes the place look warn down compared to its age. Which is sad, really. Fourth in line is the poor audio. For such large areas, you would expect the bass to be rich but instead you're treated with a flat balance of tones which is another letdown.

On the bright side, they have a great location and the staff is great but they ultimately fail based on poor design and overall business model. Spend 2 extra bucks and deal with traffic...

Brought my daughter to see snowwhite, it was full of children. Two teens in the back row brought a blanket and were doing sexual things and moaning. I complained to the manager James who gave them a warning but never checked on the situation again. The teens obviously continue. I complained again and was told by James that if multiple people don’t complain he cannot kick them out. I then reached out to the manager Steve today who was very rude and told me if they didn’t witness it for their self they would not kick them out and basically said it was ok what they were doing. I’m shocked, I didn’t call the police but I could have, I think asking them to leave a movie theater full of children would have been appropriate. We had to move because my 7 year old kept turning around to them moaning and asking what they were doing. I wanted to leave but we wouldn’t get a refund and my daughter would have been very upset. I’m shocked they thought it was ok to do this in front of chidren and even more shocked the movie theater did nothing. I’m unsure if anyone else did complain (I think one other person did) but it wasn’t a packed movie. Maybe about 6 children all together but still why is that behavior being done in a children’s movie and why would the theater allow that type of behavior...
