
We were pleasantly surprised to find this little adventure in the area. The hike is really accessible. If you pace yourself, if you’re young, you can run through those stairs up. We estimate about 260 steps up to climb about 100 feet, and at the very top, you are about 1150 feet above sea level. Anyway, I don’t have all the scientific data on it. I just can tell you that we enjoyed the visit. It has a wonderful view from the summit, however, the trees that are in the immediate platform are somewhat obstructive. I would be very nervous to bring active children on this climb. Although there are safety handrails all the climb up, there aren’t any around the summit and the platform is small.
