This store had some really fabulous deals, despite one of the a bit older ladies kinda missing the mark and after trying to explain I am trying to find clothes that make me feel comfortable in my body since I have put on some more weight she cut me off and said something about me obviously wanting to dress more like "I'm actually putting in some effort" I did correct her, and yes I do dress extremely alternative , i so have face tattoos( I just cut my dreads off that were well below my waist) I understand that to some people it may look like I just rolled out of bed, I did explain to her as politely as possible that despite how it mat seem to others every piece of my clothing is deliberate, usually handmade by me , or at least altered by me. That it actually takes alot of effort to look like I'm not trying at all, all I meant was that I was tired of being ashamed of my more mature body. One of the other ladies who worked there was so nice about the really awkward situation, and honestly there's no hard feelings, my look isn't for everyone, if it was it probably wouldn't be any fun for me anymore. Still it's a great shop with sweet ladies with LOTS of personality. The experience was memorable, and completely hilarious. I will be going back to show them how I revamped...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf youāve never been in, GO! This was one my best consignment shop experiences ever.
I went in last week for the first time and got 3 nice menās collared shirts, 4 cute womenās blouses, and 4 necklaces, 3 bracelets, a pair of earrings with a matching necklace⦠and my total was $46. I spent more on a Caesar salad, chips and queso and an iced tea in downtown Wimberley.
My brother hates shopping so we only got to stay for about 15 minutes. Normally when I go to a goodwill, it takes me 45 minutes to find one thing that I might like.
My mom is incredibly hard to shop for but she loves EVERY top we picked out for her. Never happened before. They look and feel brand new and fit perfectly.
Iāve been trying to my family into thrifting for years with no luck until now. So my very positive experience is continuing long after leaving the shop and thatās the coolest part.
Picture of us wearing our new tops at dinner that evening!
Thank yāall! Will definitely come by next time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI swear, every time I walk in here they have exactly what I need every time! It's a little bit magical...and I'll take it! I feel like all my kid's clothing is bought here and then I bring back to resell. Or just donate to them because I know they will have a good resource in the community to take it to for whoever may need it. They rotate all the clothing out seasonally and I have found a lot of household things as well. One time I walked in there and found about $1000 worth of name brand clothing, I'd use for work, and I paid $130. Most of it was new tags. I love the bins of 25 cent clothing where I can pick through and find little odds and ends for my daughter that likes to dress up or my son who will be using it outside in the shop and...
