Dollar General — Local services in Wimberley

This store is always a mess and in a bad state of disrepair. The employee turn over here has always been extraordinarily high. I have been going there since they opened many years ago watching the deterioration. Today I went there for some washer fluid air fresheners and snacks. I went to throw away a few pieces of paper and two empty drink containers. The trash can that was usually in front of the store is missing so I took it to the dumpster. An employee saw me and accosted me in the store about using the dumpster. I explained that there trash receptacle out front was missing and it was only a very small amount of refuse from the passenger floorboard of my truck. The rudeness and anger of her response that that was only for her use was so unacceptable to me that I set my items on the counter and vowed to never return. I forget the lady's name but I'm hoping that whoever the store manager for this Dollar General location will see this post and relay my compliments on her willingness to work with me as well as my gratitude to the lady (my guess: age 37-42 years old, long hair, Thursday Sept 26th, about 3pm) that was working the register. I had an emergency and needed to grab 38 snack size chips for group of students and my phone was giving me trouble letting me pay for the chips. Wouldn't connect with the card reader.I didn't have my actual cards with me and don't really carry cash but I gave her my cell phone and DL card in exchange for the chips so I could deliver them to the kids and come back ASAP and pay, which I did within 30 mins. I Know it's not a normal occurence/arrangement but it all worked out well and so I'm giving her a shoutout and hopes she receives...

As usual the Manager there I think his name is Jeff. He is Grouchy Arrogant and just down right unpleasant. His store however looks better than any other dollar Gen. I have ever seen! So he is doing something right. Recently my bf.told me to pay attention to all the mis leading so called Mark downs and mis marked merch at D.G. he also informed me you just show them the mis marked merch and they will adjust accordingly. Well wouldn't you know the Manager was the head cashier today so he should know one would think. But candy was marked 1.00 mngr rang at 2.50 my bf says nope it is marked 1.00 right on that shelf over there . Mngr takes look shakes his head stomps like a child back behind counter all the while banging on register key pad now. Ridiculous and to make it worse I had 2 mire items marked just as 1st.
