Hideaway Oaks — Hotel in Wimberley

If you are looking for a view like this on a Sunday morning before you go wander downtown Wimberly I highly recommend checking out this place.

It's a multi unit little facility a block or two from the H-E-B and literally across the road from the market area which has 50k visitors every month

Plus if you're a quilter, there's a retail quilting facility adjacent to the property, AND if you have a quilting crew, this place has a multipurpose quilting hall too. We used it for a baseball draft and honestly we had a great time. Ownership lives nearby and is very receptive to input as they're very focused on your experience. Plus you get deer and dark sky for your night time porch viewing;)

There aren't enough stars! What a wonderful experience we had at Hideaway Oaks! The attention to detail in everything was superb. From the fully stocked coffee bar and wonderfully outfitted kitchen and living space to the rooms with everything a guest could want. The beds were super comfortable and adjustable and the ensuite bathrooms nicely appointed and stocked. Everything was labelled to make it easy to find and the check in and out was smooth and easy. The home is a beautiful and comfortable chic hill country getaway. In the country, and yet across the street from Wimberley Market Days. I was there for a quilting retreat, and the work area had the BEST lighting and amenities for sewing. Quiet and peaceful with wonderful porch seating, also.
