Whether you're enjoying a leisurely stroll or attending one of the many concerts hosted here, the backdrop of the city skyline never fails to impress.

Speaking of concerts, Bailey Park is not just a pretty sight – it's also a hub for entertainment. Throughout the year, this venue comes alive with the sounds of live music, making it the perfect destination for music enthusiasts of all ages. Updated review: Juneteenth Festival held there and had plenty of space for vendors and food trucks. Large stage for acts with shaded areas spread throughout. Had a good time!

I can't express how much I love Bailey Park and the surrounding area. It was really done very nicely in a revitalized area of downtown winston salem. My Pops was showing me all of the buildings and explaining what they used to be as every building down there used to be a part of RJ Reynolds and was used to make tobacco products. Right down to the coal pit area adjacent to the park where "coal was piled in the air as tall as a building" think 50 ft. Lots of folks laying out enjoying the beautiful day. Areas to sit and enjoy the water feature or a concert. Restaurants and expensively redone condos around the area as well. ...

Recently we visited Baily park to see Gov't mule during Gears and Guitars. This was my first time on the ground in the area since they have renovated and converted it into a park and it is a wonderful addition to the city. Overall is was a nice event, the biggest downfall however was the poorly managed traffic flow of pedestrians from the porta john areas to the park it's self during the race. The traffic was routed on both sides through a single pass gate which created a log jam constantly and left a few people stuck in the road as the cyclist came. I would suggest having two separate lanes, with one way traffic to alleviate this for future events and a wider gate to prevent...

The park itself doesn't have much to do, it's good for like frisbee, picnics, yoga, etc. There isn't a playground, the bathrooms have been locked every time I've been there and the grass lately has been brown or a dog poop goldmine. The location of the park has wonderful city views and it's convenient if you're walking through downtown. Parking can be difficult to find if you don't want to spend $2 up the road under the new condos (the link). Food truck is usually there for lunch time and they have some pretty sweet concerts/events.
