An elevator was out of order, some water fountains were out of order. Security staff was rushing people out at the end of the night even though we'd purchased stuff to be signed by event performers (autographs on the art were included in the sale of the piece). Lower level ladies bathroom floor was soaking wet, and not from being cleaned. Several stalls were out of toilet paper and still hadn't been replaced the next day (weekend long event). Meh. It was decent, but some of these issues are a problem from a safety perspective. They say that there's several places in the convention center to get food, but there is only 1 concession stand, it is on the lower level and options are very limited. Other then that stuff, it is relatively well maintained and clean and easy...

This was a great facility to have our business conference at! It was very clean, professionally designed look, and lots of art making the aesthetics a lot more fun and interesting than other convention centers. There were plenty of stalls and room to move about too! It was within reasonable walking distance to a great selection of food places like a local cafe/bakery/coffee shop (see picture) and other places like an awesome pizza place that has huge calzones, Jimmy John's, etc. And there are hotels literally across the street and attached by the underground pedestrian tunnel into the convension center and plenty more hotels in the surrounding areas. Definitely would recommend this as a good convention center...

Had a ballroom dance convention here. Room was consistently much too warm and VERY humid -- the dance floor was so sticky it was nearly unusable. Ruined the dancing for us. Every day numerous people complained, and we were told "we're working on it". Within 15 minutes the A/C came on (but it was too late to do much good). The next day it was warm again; more complaints and the A/C again came on within 10-15 minutes. Seems pretty obvious we were lied to, and the Convention Center simply didn't want to cool the ballrooms to the 68 F that our activity needs. Elevator to the walkway was the slowest I've ever experienced, and was pretty filthy. We will never attend another event at the Benton...

The convention center is a very nice place. However the dinosaur show is a joke! We will NEVER come back. The rides are not included in the price of the ticket, and the free things are only a bounce house, a basketball game and the dinosaur ride on things like for a 2 year old. Not only did we drive 45 min one way to see this, the adult tickets along with the kids tickets were over $100. Part of the dinosaurs were broken and the basketballs for the free game were flat. It is nothing like what they advertise on TV. I was not the only parent disappointed. I could have taken the kids to Safari Nation and spent less and drove less time and they would have had more fun. This is a joke!

I've been here a number of times for meetings, conferences, banquets, etc. But NEVER for wrestling! This was a really fun event for me and my teenage son. It was a pretty full house (I think I heard around 1,000), and was a good 2 hours. There were 1-on-1 fights, tag teams, and then much bigger events that featured a cage... with guys literally jumping off both the ropes and the cage itself. I wondered if the Benton Convention Center could feasibly handle a chaotic wrestling match, but it suited quite well to this kind of event! The audience seemed to have a great time, and my son and I certainly did as well.
