Elizabeth's at Hanes Park — Attraction in Winston-Salem

I don't often share reviews, as this is only my second one, and I’m not one to complain, especially about small businesses. However, I was completely taken aback by the sight of a "mammy bank" priced at $75 sitting on a shelf in the corner of the shop. Selling racist relics of the past for a quick buck is extremely inappropriate, especially with children walking around. I understand that people may have different opinions, but to me, it seemed both unnecessary and ignorant to display such an item blended with art and home living collectibles when, in 2024, I believed we were all on the same page that minstrel representations of Black Americans are no longer acceptable.
