This location can have trouble with Debt transactions!! Be aware that the system can get hung up and management cannot help you. They will give you the number to customer service.
You can go inside and make a purchase with your debt card and the system get hung up. Your bank will show the transaction as completed and money is debted from your account. Their system will pause for 45 minutes or more resulting in them having to reboot. You will have to leave your items that your bank says your purchased In the store and return to the store 3-5 business days later after you resolve the issue with your bank to repurchase the items.
So basically you leave the store without your items and your money is gone from your account too, until your bank can reverse the charges days later and you still have to return back to the store to get the items if you still want them. I recommend going online to shop
Update : after multiple trips and calls to the local store the Assistant Manager (DJ) tried every attempt to reach their corporate office and was later told they couldn’t resolve the issue for 72 more hours! Store Manager Phil was NOT any help at all, store associate Maggie was confused on day one, and former DM Ray did not have any concern or compassion for the issue. Ray Basically informed me it happens and later would not accept any calls from me.
Resolution: Without persistence from DJ, excellent management service from District Manager Eugene, and outstanding patience and work from Store Associate Julian we could not have resolved this issue. After 4 days The issue was finally resolved on yesterday thanks to these guys! If you go into the store make sure you work with Julian,...
Read moreI'll start this by saying the service of the two individuals I worked with one named Maggie and the other who I don't know the name of was great. Everything beyond that including management was terrible. I bought a product from GameStop 3 days ago that was not only confirmed to me as working on the system I was checking for but was also written on the box. The product when I brought it home gave me issues immediately and did not work even after trying manufacturers solutions for it. I returned to GameStop after the work week (3 days) for a return and received absolutely no help. The cashier on duty called their manager for the product I confirmed to them at this point was defective and was told to kick rocks. Now I must speak to the manufacturer to make something of what currently is a paperweight. In my opinion this is predatory business practice and my first time going to GameStop for a purchase but I learned my lesson. I don't expect a reply from a manager on this but try to remove my review and we'll go further together.
TLDR: Don't buy GameStop products unless you either don't care about your money or can confirm it works perfectly. Go...
Read moreI'm leaving this review in relation to GameStop's handling of a situation with PSA card grading. I submitted my cards and one came back with a scratch on the slab. I pointed this out and requested a refund on grading fee or a voucher to send another card. I was told that a district manager would contact me to discuss. A week goes by and nothing. I call the store and speak with the store manager who downplayed the situation with me not being contacted and refused to give me the information for the district manager. I went and picked up the card because I do not have time for laziness or incompetence.
I will be documenting the damage to the slab and submitting a case with my credit card company. GameStop essentially holding the card hostage while offering no resolution was an unacceptable situation and one that I will not stand for. I will not be submitting anymore cards through GameStop, and I will not be spending any additional money with their...
