Iāve been going to perla for 10 years and put up with their horrible schedule system every single time. I live in a different state and still only cut my hair with perla when Iām visiting Jersey. Hate to say this but as a new mom, leaving the house is a luxury and time is way to valuable. being told sheās running behind by 1hour with 2 people ahead of me when Iām on time to my appointment just isnāt acceptable. The receptionist takes phone numbers when you make the appointment, a courtesy call to let people know before they begin driving would be the least they can do. If youāre running behind once in a while itās fine. But when youāre consistently runniing behind, then whatās the point in making an appointments if it wonāt be respected. Maybe they shouldnāt be accepting as many clients in a day. As someone who doesnāt come as often i know im not as valued as her other clients but im more than 10 years loyal but canāt do it anymore. Sheās great at cutting hair and im always happy with it, but time is too valuable. Hope they can figure this out I really thought they would when she opened up her own place....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been here twice before however this third time was a 100 percent disappointment. I made an appointment for my daughter for 1:30 pm and they did not sit my daughter until 2:45. All they were suppose to do is a basic dry and curls at the end for style. They ādriedā her hair and pinned it and sent her on her way. I went home after her makeup was done and unpin the hairā¦the hair was still damp and the hair turned into a complete frizz ball. I am so disappointed and furious that they ruined her special day (8th grade dance) never going backā¦they did a terrible job and it was my fault for not going to my typical salon in Perth Amboy. I went here because I figured it was going to be convenient because is closed to my home. The young receptionist at the front desk greeted other customers and offered coffee and tea but had no intention in asking me. I even glanced at her, looking away from my phone to see if sheāll acknowledge, nothing. Just walked away. When I got out of the restroom and asked her how long is the wait, she asked me to sit by the washer and that she will get someone to wash me..again, left there, nothing. My 4pm hairstylist had no intentions to even meet me and was no where even finished with the client before me. Why make an appointment if youāre not going to go by it?
