Wish I would have chosen a different location to get married. It’s pretty & the food is decent. They sell you on having your own “wedding planner”, but everyone kept quitting, so we never met with the same person more than once. There were so many things that didn’t happen that were supposed to. The cake was terrible, makes sense why they don’t let you taste test it beforehand. The icing literally tasted like straight butter, as well as, the flavor was wrong. I didn’t want a normal cake and one of the planners told me they can do a play on a “banana split” cake. Nope. It was literally vanilla with vanilla frosting. We were told one of the biggest fees was going towards the staff cleaning up afterwards and we could pick up all of our things (centerpieces, decorations, etc...) the next morning. When we went in Chris literally started yelling at us, the morning after our wedding and after spending $13000 with them, telling us we were supposed to clean up and take all our things the night of the wedding. What place makes you clean up the night of. We also had multiple planners tell us we would get all our things the next morning. Chris was extremely rude. All of our things were thrown in a couple boxes in the storage closet, with a ton of stuff missing. They made it very clear the night after our wedding there was a 1000 person wedding and that was what they cared about, not our wedding. They didn’t even put our candles up for our unity candles. It was just a mess and super upsetting that we spent so much money on something that didn’t even go the way we wanted or were told it would. There’s so much more, the cake literally looked like a Pinterest fail, nothing like the picture I gave them, the main centerpiece at the head table wasn’t even turned on, we were told, because we had to meet the minimum price and add so much extra food aka “late night snacks”, they would put to-go boxes of out for people to take snacks home, which they didn’t either. There was just sooo much that was missed and I definitely believe it was because they were only focused on the night after ours. We just had our wedding yesterday and I am supremely confident that there is no better venue on the planet that we could have chosen. Not only is their pricing/package amazing, the service here goes so far above and beyond that by the time our wedding day came we did not have a single worry about anything that had to do with the venue. This business is family owned and operated and the benefits of that can be seen and felt every step of the way. Karen our wedding planner had everything so perfectly organized and was an amazing guide through this process. Chris and his mother (I believe they are the owners) participated in every meeting we had, and my husband and I could not imagine a more enjoyable and personal experience.
