Lounge by Glimmer — Attraction in Woodridge

I loved coming to Glimmer Salon, but I just had the most awful customer service experience from them. Made a hair appointment on 9/18 to color my hair on 10/16 and was excited, but just today received a message my appointment was a “booking error” was only offered to reschedule, and of course not with the same stylist, “she’s booked for a while” they said. Staff did not seem to be understanding of how upset I was, even cried on the phone. This customer service upset me so greatly I won’t be coming back. The Lounge is the best! I've been going to Sam for a couple years now for both color and my extension maintenance/installs. She does a great job at consultations (as I can be very indecisive and usually just say "whatever you think") by walking through options and pros/cons of each but still providing her opinion. The environment is super warm and welcoming and I love that each appointment is catered to whatever you need - if it's pulling out my laptop to get some work done or just chatting and catching up, you can really tell they make an effort to elevate your typical salon experience. Samantha is an amazing stylist! I have asked for very specific things that she nails perfectly AND I have given very vague descriptions that she somehow knows exactly what I am trying to say without the right words and she nails that too!

Her recommendations on products are never to “sell” you on something but are specific to me and my hair issues. I love that they put a great deal of thought into what products they use and carry (good for you and the environment)

The atmosphere is welcoming and fun. You can feel the family vibes between the stylists and it makes for a great overall experience. Will always highly recommend Glimmer Salon...
