It's a beautiful, historic venue and the wonderful staff and local artists take full advantage of it with the spectacular shows they host. The stairs up to the balcony are a bit steep, but they do have an elevator to the "ground" floor on the second story. The ground seating is all wonderful, though for any production that has a live pit I'd recommend sitting a couple rows back. That said, while I've never sat up front (I love the balcony), I've heard it's not too loud most of the time. In the balcony, try to sit close to center. The side seats in the balcony have limited stage views, and you can see back stage. One of the major downsides is the seating is really cramped and if you have to leave your seat during a performance for whatever reason, it's a major disruption. Parking is free but that said, consists of the Woodstock Square and surrounding streets and public lots and depending on what's happening on the Square, you may have to park a few blocks away. But you will not be disappointed by any of the productions. The mix of professionals and amateurs always give stellar...

Once everyone was in the theater & seated they had a group trivia contest 1st based on the movie. I didn't expect that, but it was a fun little addition! Between the lights in the square, the trees all decorated & beautiful in the opera house, the movie, & my company, it was a magical & festive night! All for $5 per person!! Can't beat it & can't wait until next year. We've decided this will be a new holiday tradition. Although now that I've raved about it on here, we'll probably have to get our tickets...
