This museum has a lot more to offer than it appears from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled with the quality of their exhibits! They have done a wonderful job of displaying their relics and offering the history necessary for the public's enjoyment. There are truly some beautiful items on display. The atmosphere is relaxed and classy. The gift shop is a joy to browse and has good prices; there is something for everyone and is affordable. My only disappointment was that there was not a museum tee-shirt left in my size! The staff is friendly, pleasant, and helpful. There is a donation box upon entering and a guest book to sign. I feel it is worthy of any and all donations it receives and hope it continues to thrive for future generations. On a side note, please do not miss the pretty grounds accessed through a side door inside the museum. There are some metal sculptures that are a delight and brought a chuckle and a smile to my heart. Kudos to the artist as well as to the museum for allowing a local metal artist to entertain the public with the tasteful, well-done...
