I’ve had the worst experience ever here, and I was a member for two years, never been treated to disrespectfully anywhere else in my life! And after two years of being an active member, I’ve decided to go to another gym because not only did my payments not stick somehow on my account which caused me to be stopped frequently by someone only to be told by someone else that I’m all good to go, that happened a few times but what made it all too much is the fact that they put a card on file BEHIND MY BACK that I didn’t authorize to be on file, and charged it my membership fees causing my account to be overdrawn, and when I asked about why this card was used without my permission, Ryan was very rude and challenging and refused to help me, and he said that that card was there before when it was a BRAND NEW CARD that I had just gotten a week prior to being charged. Almost everyone at the front desk is horribly rude, and everyone says that they’re the Manager just to give you some attitude and give you a hard time. When I called the gym to see if they’ll resolve my overdraft issue and reverse the charge to use a different card so I don’t have pay the overdraft fees caused by using that card without my permission, and initially they said they wont do anything then I said I’ll start training somewhere else... to which Louis (assistant manager) said he would help if I stopped by, and when I did he completely pretended like he doesn’t know what we’re talking about and said that he can’t help me and that he never even spoke to me! I was told Louis not to contact my bank and that he would give me the fees I got charged by the bank as credit towards my account which he lied about just to make it too late for me to dispute the charge. Louis and Ryan were so confrontational and rude that I’ve felt like I was in some underground gang’s gym and not a place like XSport, so I decided to leave and cancel my two year membership and find a gym that wouldn’t Use a card that I didn’t authorize, one that has friendly staff at least with the minimum customer’s service required politeness, and one that smells less like poop, sweat and piss everywhere, everyday no matter what the season is. Hygiene is a huge problem at this location too. Do yourselves a favor and find another location, don’t go to this HORRIBLE gym. I’ve joined Anytime Fitness for the same amount a month and that is...
Read moreSo far, so good. I'm a new member as of a few days ago. Aesthetically from the outside, it looks so cheap and cheesy I had always just written it off as a place I wouldn't want to do business. But this is my third trip in as many days, and I'm pretty impressed. The facility is sprawling and clean inside. Nevermind what people say about weird smells. I mean, it is a gym, but I found it comfortable and all equipment seems updated and in good shape. I was surprised by all the amenities. Customer service and courtesy are not valued here. The staff helping me have been hit or miss as far as friendliness and willingness to help. Some staff look like they hate their lives, lol hire people who want to be there. My main criticism is that no one offered to show me around the gym. Afterall, I'm spending my money there...it's almost as if they don't want you to take advantage of everything your membership includes. I'm not blown away by the customer service, so if that's important to you, definitely go somewhere else. Otherwise, I'm enjoying myself so far. Don't count on the front desk to have towels. I learned my lesson after day 1 and started bringing my own. Happy fitness :)
11/25/17 Update: Still coming here, but there's always an issue with our account. My boyfriend paid us up to date and paid for my tanning in cash to a female associate. Since then, there is ALWAYS an error message when I go to check in to tan, telling us we still owe money. The male associate who "helps" us is always baffled yet never takes a minute to ask a coworker or manager for assistance. A few times recently I was denied tanning because the "system was down". I'm pretty sure we pay for unlimited tanning. The worst part is staff are so lazy and unconcerned with your problem that they don't even pretend to be sorry or try to make it right. I'm feeling more and more like a chump every time we go in and hand over more $. It's time for a reply from Xsport with something other than "we'll continue to improve your experience", since my experience hasn't improved one iota since my original review. The kids they have working there are lazy and don't care about customers at all....

Today, I attempted to use a different treadmill. This one had the same problem. It appears that when the gym switched from XSPORT the equipment was swapped out for junk. Again I informed the front desk employee who acted like she could be bothered. She should be fired! What does she do? She didn't greet me when I entered. She wasn't concerned about the issue with the equipment. When I requested a manager she lied and said "We don't have a manager." I informed her that I knew the entire corporation has managers. Then she gave me a name where I had to request her to write it down for me. She only scribbled Leilani. This was my favorite gym since 2009. Now it's just crap!
The gym is large with plenty of equipment. It is one of the best equipped gyms around. It's always clean and is cleaned frequently. Now, most of the patrons are ages 30 and under. Now the gym is HOT! I don't know the reason, but you start sweating after 15 minutes of working out. They need to change that immediately!
My concern is that the staff is no longer knowledgeable. It's all about selling packages and trying to get you to sign memberships no matter what. However, the training staff, in my opinion are for sedentary senior citizens. If you are an athlete of any kind, forget about it. Just because a person looks like an athlete and passed a test doesn't mean that they are an effective and knowledgeable personal trainer.
Don't try calling the corporate office for support unless you have an hour or two to just sit on the phone. I called them for weeks, let the phone ring forever before they answered. Usually, it's 10 minutes or more before they answer. They are effective in assisting you once they answer, but it takes so much time to get through.
So go for the equipment. Whatever you do DO NOT lock your wallet or other valuables in the lockers! Keep those at home or in your car. Bring only what you need for the workout, your car key, ID, and membership fob. You have...
