Oak Lawn Park District - Ice Arena — Attraction in Worth Township

I came to Oak Lawn Park District to register my daughter for classes, but the experience was disappointing. The staff member at the front desk didn’t seem to know how to enroll her and had to ask a colleague. After confirming that the classes were open, she then told me I had to register online and couldn’t help me complete the registration in person. It’s frustrating that they don’t have properly trained employees who can assist with something as simple as signing up for a class. If in-person registration isn’t an option, they should make that clear upfront instead of wasting people’s time.

Glad to see so many people skating but skate guards and supervision was lackluster. Only guard doing their job was the guard checking wristbands. Too many people standing around in the middle of the ice instead of by the boards, throwing snowballs and opening the side door by the Zamboni to get on the ice and no one said anything to them. Felt like chaos and many accidents...

We have only been to this rink a handful of times over the years. Overall it's not a bad facility main areas kept clean with lots of seating.
