That Girl Boutique — Attraction in Worth Township

Let me start with this, because I cannot give this place a zero star review, they get one star for such a large variety of beautiful dresses at a fairly decent price. I had come here while looking for a dress for my destination wedding. I tried on a variety of dresses and with the help of Annie (whom I believe to be the owner), I found one I liked in a light blue color. I talked about the things I loved about it, and what alterations might need to be made, including that the rhinestones on the dress were pretty spaced out and I wouldn't mind adding more. She assured me that the dress came in Ivory and i ordered it, ecstatic that I had found my dress. I had to call multiple times to find out when my dress would be in (past the quoted date) and finally one day I called and was told that my dress had been there. When I tried it on, it was very similar except for shimmering rhinestones,y had pearls... This was not the dress I had talked to the owner about, this was different and she tried making me feel crazy for thinking so. After a few phone calls and fighting,I was given a store credit that I then used for my mom's mother-of- the-bride outfit. Once again many calls were wasted trying to figure out how much longer past the quoted date her outfit would be in. When finally I was told "it's here, taking up room in our closet we called and texted you," and so much disrespectful attitude. I don't know how they were able to text a landline, but my mother's phone has not had one missed call from them, and my cell phone was written on her invoice as well and no one contacted me. The amount of attitude that they think is okay to give to their customers is disgusting. I'm just thankful I got my bridesmaids dresses else where, and that they didn't have to deal with this store as much as I did. Do yourselves a favor and go...

I have so many concerns about this place, I don't even know where to begin! I have two daughters who were going to prom. I purchased one dress from "That Girl" The owner seemed so desperate to make the sale that she was very kind and personable until the payment was made! After the payment she was extremely rude! She is also a dishonest person; The prom was May 7th. She told me that our dress would be shipped from China no later than April 15th. I followed up with her on April 25, 26, and 27th. At that point she told me that she would call to get a status of the shipping, and would call me back on Friday, April 29th. Needless to say, I never received a return call-EVER! I continued to call the store, finally employee (Nikki) answered the phone. She asked me to hold while she checked to see if the dress had been shipped, and it had not been! The dress had to be expedited at that point! Nikki shared that the owner hadn't actually followed up to check if the dress had been shipped, she was providing her "Guestimation!" Fortunately, we received the dress on May 3rd. I placed an order for a second dress (for my other daughter) at a boutique in Palos. The order was placed a full week after placing the order with "That Girl Boutique." The Palos boutique had a more professional and pleasant atmosphere. for my prom last year i came here and found a dress i fell in love with but the only bad thing is that it was way too big. i’m normally a size 0-2 in dresses and the owner goes “oh you will definitely be a 4 i can order you that” and my mom was like “are you sure don’t you think we should measure her to make sure it’s the right size?” and the lady goes “no she is definitely a 4” so we take her advice because you would assume she knew what she was doing (suprise! she didn’t) . weeks and weeks go by and finally the week before prom my dress comes in. we go back and i try it on and it is still WAY too big. my mom and i were furious and the lady ordered me a 2 and said she was express shipping it and said it will “maybe” come in before my prom. maybe???? we didn’t pay $500 something dollars for me not to wear the dress?????????? literally 2 days before my prom my dress came in and i still had to get a hook added to the back of it thank god my mom knew someone who could do it. i would recommend avoiding this place at all costs because the other reviews i’ve read have similar...
