I called Mark's Photoshop and talked to Bryan. I asked if they would be interested in vintage cameras. I told Brian I had two boxes full of cameras along with one box of cases. Bryan was excited and said yes to bring them in. I told him I wouldn't be able to make it there until 5:30 p.m. They close at 6:00 p.m. When I got there that's when he told me, he needs them for at least two weeks. I told him I didn't even take account of any of them and that he should have told me that on the phone before I drove all the way down there. I said at least it would have given me time to think about if I wanted to let him have them for that long. I said I needed time to think about it. Bryan told me he would make it easy on me and just pass on the cameras. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional the way he handled the entire situation. Read morePoor customer service. We brought our video camera in for service and the agent said they don't repair video cameras like that. He had not even taken the camera out of the bag to look at it. When we told him we were trying to view the videos to copy them, he said he had no idea about that although they could transfer the tapes starting at $9.99 per tape. They were no help at all. I understand why on-line services are getting so much of the new business! Following is a line taken from their web page
"If your camera has a problem we can help. We repair all digital, digital slr, film and video cameras as well as Kodak slide projectors."
Guess they say one thing yet...
