Little Paws Pet Resort Inc — Attraction in Yakima

I feel like 3 stars is actually being generous. We started taking our dog here when she was 3 months old. Everything seemed fine at first but the customer service went downhill quickly. Good luck trying to get an actual grooming appointment. When you ask, they say they'll put you on the book for that day but on several occasions, we came to pick our dog up from daycare to find out the groomer didn't have time to get to her that day. I also feel that for the amount of dogs they have, they really don't have that much room to run and play. Illnesses were always an issue, our dog got kennel cough twice, an upper respiratory cold, and puppy warts while she was here. She doesn't go to any dog parks or play with other dogs so it had to be from LP. I know the owners can't control what dog owners do while they're not at daycare, but the close quarters don't help when it comes to sickness. On top of all this, they decided to raise their prices which was the final straw for us. We found a new daycare that we are extremely happy with. Little Paws is absolutely amazing and I would trust them time and time again to watch my fur babies. I have had two incidents where I’ve needed to board my cats either overnight or for a few hours and they’re always willing to work with me to make sure they’re taken care of. The first time I dropped my cats off, I was very nervous because I had never boarded an animal, but they took such amazing care of my girls. I was not worried for one moment about them and the staff was kind enough to let me call and check on them. My girls are never stressed going in or coming back to me. I’ve interacted with several different staff members and they’ve all been absolutely amazing and so beyond kind, and always willing to share the cutest stories about my girls. Ive only had to board my dog a couple times in the 7 years of owning her. i had a trip planned and last minute decided it wouldn’t work out for my little dog to join us. i called little paws and i was able to take her in for a trial period the next day. everything worked out great and she loved it! the staff that i encountered were all extremely sweet and one man (i can’t remember his name) had some friendly words when i expressed i was nervous since i usually dont board my dog. the pricing is very fair. im happy to say little paws is on my list of people i can trust to watch over...
