El Rinconsito | Yakima on 1st — Restaurant in Yakima

Ordered tacos through the uber app and received nothing but tortillas and meat. Called to ask about the order because I know it’s supposed to come with toppings and the lady who answered was extremely rude and insisted I must have made an error and selected 5+ different options that leave the all the toppings off. Tried to reason logically with her to inform her that my Uber receipt shows I didn’t select anything to be left off. The logic was clearly to much for her to handle as she continued to be rude and say that it was my fault and their was nothing she was willing to do to right the situation.

Crazy part is it was easier to have the situation remedied by Uber than it was this local business. Would never recommend this place and just very thankful los primos has opened down the road. Highly recommend people save themselves from dealing with this shady and unprofessional business and take it elsewhere to businesses that are loyal and decent to the people who...

Rinconsito 2 is just about the only place I eat when I'm in Yakima. They make the tortillas right there. The meat is perfect every time I've been. The salsa bar is generous and the staff is always welcoming, and even personal. Some have come to recognize us.

The day shift around lunch, midweek, it can be pretty busy. Food is quick to come, regardless. I've seen it multiple times where there weren't any tables available.

Mid-week around 7pm, this place can still be pretty busy, but also I've seen it more that the dining room at that point is just trashed. The other day when I was in, no joke, every single table in the place that wasn't being sat in already, was dirty. With these guys, I'm pretty much only forgiving for it, because I love them and they have good service. But seriously, it was a sight to see how messy the dining room was that night.

My only request for Rinconsito is they fix their tables. There's at least a few I've sat at that were...

I am not one to rate places unless I feel it is deserved. I have visited multiple locations and this one is my least favorite. Despite the multiple mistakes, I visit this location because it’s conveniently located near me. At the time of ordering AND paying at the window I ask for extra salsa verde and am never failed to ask a third time. I have also paid multiple times for the extra sides of the chipotle burrito (guacamole and sour cream) where I have had to drive back around or get home and realize it’s not in the bag. I understand these are not big issues but it is when you are paying for it. It’s frustrating because I speak both Spanish and English so there is no communication barrier yet there is always a mess up...
