Reading through reviews I m not surprised on all the 1/5 and low marks. I also found it very insulting that the assist Manager… Gia responds with a standard pre written text form all responses are basically the same. lol why do you bother because it more insulting and more proof as to the lack of care you have for any guest I guess Lawyees are the only thing you will have to respond to besides corporate I would not recommend this hotel due to management’s lack of concern or response to complaints. First of all after returning from a visit with my daughter I entered our room and the entry tile was so slick I slipped and my feet came up from under and as I feel I twisted my body and was hurt extremely bad in fat couldn’t even get up without the help of my husband and niece. My husband reported it to the individuals working that eve who sorta brushed it off when leaving I reported my fall to a very nice girl at front desk who pulled a paper from right in front of her to fill out a incident report which I did. I was told no manager would be there until the next day Then a few hours latter I saw an additional charge of almost 400 on my card my room had been paid for 2 weeks prior when I called the girl who answered said she would reverse the charges but had to call manager to assure she was doing it right and call me back well no call back after 7 calls that day or any explanation the following morning I called and it was a assist manager I talked to about charges who said um hold on about 5 min latter comes back with I had a dog in my room and ruined all the sheets and linen and I was aware of a 250 charge for having a animal first I had no clue second I had no dog 3 you have to pass front desk to get to room the assist manager proceeded to state she had pitcures and was shown everything the day before Hmm I was told no management was there when I was taking about my fall I also told the assist manager sorta funny my room was charged hours after I left and after I did an incident report then she said well when did you report it or did you and got rude with me after I explained everything was in report and I would be going to ER when I returned home due to more complications again she said she would look into everything cause I asked for proof explaining my brown eyeshadow broke on comforter but if I was being charged wanted the item she was rude basically calling me a liar to date over 48 hours and have not heard a word back I have been to the ER and am in the process of retaining a lawyer who is just waiting on my hospital records . This establishment has broken many Washington state hospitality laws by their current actions and lack of response and lack of providing me with a break down of fees etc in regards to a illegal unauthorized forced credit card debt push payment which is illegal. So if you plan on staying there make sure you research your legal rights and their obligations and don’t stay there if you have kids the homeless and prostitution and drug dealing accruing around parking lot is not safe and there is no security...
Read moreI booked two nights at this "Best Western Negative" and things seemed fine to start until it came to the billing. There were a lot of conversations with many different employees, so in the interest of brevity I'll try to keep it short. I work for the government and I was in Yakima for business last weekend. I told them ahead of time that I would be arriving late Friday night in the very AM, more like Saturday morning. I knew I had to book Friday night as well despite showing up at the front desk at 7am, just in time for some breakfast. The clerk said "oh, I thought you were a no show and I marked you as such". I told him I already explained that when I was booking the room that I'd be very late. It turned out on Saturday night that there was an additional single night charged above the two nights as a result. I called them and they were clueless as to why there would be an additional charge. My wife also ended up calling and she finally spoke to a nice women that seemed to fix the issue and even offered waiving the first night. Upon checkout Sunday morning another nice women (could be the same one) at the front desk handed me the final bill for $123.00 and it also showed the first night being waived on paper. I left satisfied and didn't hear anything else about it for a few days. My wife noticed that first night being charged on our cc and we thought here we go. She called again and got the runaround for awhile. The last woman she talked to was extremely unprofessional and rude. Among other things she basically implied that we were trying to get a free night even after we explained that it was offered and already given to us. We did not ask for anything. My hotel stays are all reimbursed when I'm traveling on business, so we don't care if we're being charged for every night. It was explained to her that we're upset about the inconvenience and hassle of having to deal with their unethical and unprofessional business practices. If you tell a customer that a charge is going to be waived, even in error, stick to your word, instead of jerking them around. In the end we said fine, but we'll need the amended final bill emailed to us and she said it'll take up to five business in the most snarky voice imaginable. I've already relayed this experience to my supervisor and all future stays for all of my coworkers will be booked at different hotels. The scrambled eggs and sausage were pretty yummy, but they need retraining in the...
Read moreOur experience with your hotel was horrible! We stay at a lot of hotels during football season and in comparison, your hotel scored extremely low. Your hot tub was out of order which is one of the reasons we chose your hotel, there was the light from the pool floating in the pool when we went down, still attached to the electrical cord and after pointing this out to the front desk, it was still like that the following day. The ice machine was broken and the vending machine decided to work when it felt like it. There was someone staying above us that sounded like they had small children. There was pounding, jumping all kinds of banging until late into the night around 11 PM and then these noises started again at about 530 to 6 AM . I had a long drive ahead of me the next day and decided to call the front desk at about 6:15 AM to complain. She said she would call them. I don’t know if she ever did, but I suspect she did not since the noise did not stop , there was a small dog staying in the room next to us that was yapping on and off most of the night and anytime adore opened or closed throughout the day. I also made a complaint about this and how disruptive it was and was told this person was staying there for a month and they would let them know the dog was bothering other people. When I went to check out, I decided to mention to the front desk all of the experiences that we were satisfied with and what I was told instead of I’m sorry or what can I do to make it better? I will make a note of it. After we returned on Saturday at about noon, we were exhausted from no sleep from the night before and had to get up super early early and had barely slept due to the barking dog and Upstairs neighbors. We went to go enter our room and our cards had been Deactivated. We had to go all the way to the front desk and have them reprogrammed just to enter our room. I was extremely disappointed by this hotel and will never stay there again and or...
