Took my NEW laptop in because it had a blue screen of death. This laptop is less than 2 years old with nothing wrong on it. One day I did a simple update and got a blue screen error I decided to take it to yakima networking since it's the only repair shop I see around town.
They did a wipe and reload of windows 10. Took them about 2 weeks to do it which I never got a call for. I had to call every week to check on the status of the repair. Once I got home the battery would not charge properly. Aside from that bluetooth and wifi connections also went out within a week. My computer us running slower than before I took it in.
I get a sense this business wants to lure you into coming back by messing your system up. They made me sign on a touchpad without any explanation of what I was signing. Once u was done the guy came back with a sheet that stated any they would not be liable for any problems or malfunctions that arise during repair. Which means it's a get out of jail free card to mess up your computer .
Poor business practice and customer service DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS you are better off fixing it yourself or taking it...

I went in to add some RAM, purchased on Amazon, to increase the speed on an old HP laptop, as I couldn't open the case, myself.
The tech, Dell, I think, said he didn't think it would increase my speed much, which led to a discussion about replacing my mechanical hard drive with a solid state drive that would.

Long story short, I had him replace my drive with an SSD, along with the RAM, and he even gave me a Linux disc to install the new operating system.
I have it in now, and my 12 yo computer is lightning fast, got a completely-new "lease on life", and the Linux seems like it will be a great system, too.
These guys are friendly, very knowledgeable, highly-skilled, and very fair in their pricing, couldn't recommend them any more highly.
I won't go anyplace else now, for any future computing needs,...

Staff fixed both my concerns at no cost. Wasn't carrying cash or would have gladly tipped. They said they would accept cookies, lol, but I don't bake.
Go forward a couple months - Asked staff to find any way possible to keep my HP Laptop on life support, upgrade to windows ten...computer surgeon Ed performed miracle surgery, resurrecting my soggy drive, upgrading to a newer version of my HP, kept all my stuff in tact, ran security tests which took an entire day on the operating table and sent me on my way for...
