Nob Hill Bowl — Local services in Yakima

I have been coming to this bowling alley My entire life and today is the last time. I went in to ask for a lane. And they told me that it would be an hour, so I go in to get put on the waiting list. They said that I would have to come to the actual location to check in for the wait. This was no issue since I was actually already driving there. I get there and now. The waiting list is an hour and a half to 2 supposedly. I told them I would come back in an hour, they said ok. I come back in an hour. And they hand me the waiting timer and tell me it's gonna be another hour and a half. I asked to speak to an owner and instead got a manager, He told me that unless I sat inside the bowling alley and Literally just waited for an hour and a 1/2, The time would reset every time I left the building. I asked them what I was supposed to do for an hour and a half without leaving the building. (I don't drink or gamble) I also pointed out that the woman at the counter had literally told me okay when I said that I would be coming back in an hour to wait out the rest of the time. We were having our early holiday party, as we do every year at the Nob hill bowling alley. This time was different... normally the food is fantastic not this year😥 the burgers were flavorless, the fish and chips were way over seasoned, and fettuccine alfredo also had no flavor. Then our bowling ball's kept getting stuck we were on a timed game so the 15 min it took to fix it was not added on to our time as it was not our fault. All 5 stars are for our waitress The one positive was our waitress Aubrey she was absolutely wonderful! If it weren't for her, our party would have really sucked. Management is garbage!! Sad some really good employees but management kills this place. They don’t care about their employees or even customers unless you have a lot of money then Chris just hovers over you like a helicopter. They even barred a guy for winning too much. You can tell how down hill this place has gone in the last few years by the shortage in staff and all the new faces you see because of such a big turn over in staff. That speaks in volumes.
