Ok... I USUALLY dont have a problem with this place. Every month or two, I go into purchase some dog food and rabbit bedding. THIS TIME we decided to purchase a 5x10 Retrievwr dog pen, the additional roofing for it; as well as a porch swing. We went in; we saw some stuff out front that we liked so we went to talk to customer service. She wrot down the SKU #s of the pieces we needed and directed us to go to the front registers where they would hook us up with a points earning credit card. And $50 off our first applied purchase. All was smooth there. We took the receipt then out as directed to the side of the building where an employee would assist in getting our items loaded Into our truck_ ookk.. So I drive over to the side !nd it was neer a total kiascal cluster F^%$ as several cars were ALL over each other waiting for this unknown person to come help get What they wanted. FINALLY, after about litterally 1/2 an hour the guy that's been crazily unending pumping propain for people finally shuts down his propane area and comes over to see my receipt and directs me to move my truck more to a further location towards the curb next to another two people also waiting. The employee finally comes out with our porch swing and we slide that into bed from his forklift. THEN a few later he comes carrying an OPEN container for the roof of the 5x10 dog pen. Puts that in our truck and declares he can't find that they don't have the retriever dog pen that we have purchases. SOO. Im to go BACK Inside and have the customer service "deal with it"..so back inside again. I asked the employee IF there was any way to have the ship store to store or ship to home, have one come in and hold it for us.......ANYTHING for this cage piece we want. NOPE!! They were entirely set on to just give me a refund so I could leave. So back to the checkout lane to get a refund off the credit card I'd just set up with then so I could then go over to the Olympia TS to get a kennel they had in stock. After returning to my home; I discovered that the open container for the Retriever dog pen roof kit i had purchase had been opened because SOMEBODY had taken/stolen The canvas cover for the roof system. So we called TS up and informed them. They didn't have any left in stock_they were apologetic BUT there only recourse.... they wanted for me to RETURN the cover and get a refund and stop bugging then. We finally got BACK there ((again)) for the refund and the employee at the counter AT FIRST wanted a different receipt we'd had from earlier and was going to try telling us to drive clear back home to get the other receipt and come BACK AGAIN. but there manager had an idea_pull up transaction using my phone #. That worked and they FINALLY returned my money to the credit card I'd set up earlier. Just so then I could drive to Spanaway TS to get a Retriever cover they had in stock. I just felt this place was more interested in doing whatever to get you OUT of there store then helping the customer get what they correctly need. I have more to deal with this retail BUT I am going g to save THAT part for THOSE particular stores; and NO it's NOT good. This ENTIRE CHAIN of STORES is all about taking your $$ and not helping the customer get what they correctly need ; oh well if its not right we can't coronation getting the correct part you need. Just give you a refund and go find it someplace else. I've delt with allot of stores in my time, but this one so far tops out at the WORST in helpful customer service!. after this entire fiascal I will much rather gladly pay a higher price at a place like home depot, Lowes or the local community store then...

I'm usually, for the most part, satisfied when I shop here. My only gripe right now is (just like everywhere else). Prices have and are going up, up, up, UP.. I ONLY bought a 10-pound box of dog biscuits, some other dog marrow treats, and some dog ear cleaning Medine and my bill was just shy of $50. SMH. I was looking around for some other means of dispensing hay for rabbits, but their selection is quite limited. As for most types of stuff, they have._you will find probably a good variety of stuff, but as far as variations in that particular item are extremely limited at a TS. Customer service is pretty top-notch; I think I had 2 employees ask me down the isles if I found what I was looking for, not counting the person who rings you up. I never understand why they ask me for my account with them. I give them my phone #. They pull up my name, but I've NEVER purchased anything that changed the price, so I'm not sure why they even ask. Overall, the store is pretty clean, helpful employees, pretty well laid out isles as well as how the products are displayed to view what selection they have and how many they have available to take from. I notice too that for the most part, the isles are laid out mostly by means of type of creature dealing with, ex: dogs and cat food are all in same general area, birds, Ginni pigs, rabbits , mice, etc stuff is in one general location, then further is your bigger creature stuff for like horses and such. From closing their doors early and their un-willingness to make a sale even after a hold was made over the phone and then driving the distance to get there, my experience with the Spanaway store needed to be mentioned in this review.
Seeing that the Kent store did not have what we needed they called the Spanaway store, and we were told they had put the items aside for us.
On-line the store hours show 9PM. Arriving at the parking lot at 8:23PM, store workers were waving us down to let us know they were closed. One of the three individuals who knew why we were there, told us to come back tomorrow, because their store closes at 8PM.
The individual telling us this, explained that their store has closed at 8PM for the past two years because of the neighborhood, understandable but that did not help us.
The hours on-line say 9PM and the distance to get to Spanaway was 28 miles.
I feel the Spanaway storeās operation deserves a closer look.
Then one of the employees said to go to the Puyallup or Yelm store. Webthen called the Yelm store and they said they were willing to wait for me. More driving and the bad faith you feel when not being helped as promised.
It was 9:04PM when we got to the Yelm store, and we got what we needed. After all the confirming over the phone and distance traveled, the Yelm store showed genuine customer service and...
