Quiznos — Restaurant in Yelm

The girls who waited on me were awesome. They were dealing with a homeless dude who was clearly going through psychosis. At one point the dude is arguing with the girl he then dumps the contents of his pockets on the table and walks out side while at the same time having a conversation with himself. The youngest of the girls is standing next to the table where said bum dumped his pockets. She stands there frozen in fear about having to touch any of the debris I walk over and notice that there is a pretty good size baggy of Smack amongst the trash. I point it out to the girls which made the situation more dramatic. One of the girls dials 911 and upon learning the cops are coming the vagrant shuffles over and stuffs the debris into his pockets and makes for the door not pausing once from the conversation he's having with himself. The girls were apologizing profusely which was unnecessary. They ended up buying me my sandwich which was also unnecessary. The customer service was really good considering. I love Quiznos I used to run a whole bunch of them actually when I lived in Illinois and the West Chicago suburbs at its peak when I was a teenager and then of course Quiznos wins downhill with horrible marketing and a few other things so there's not as many of them so when I started working in Yelm I noticed there was a Quiznos and went in and that is my go-to place for treats for myself because they will also get the bread so I have less carbs I do miss the fact that I don't think they put oregano on the sandwiches anymore that does make a difference I didn't see any there but the staff is great I don't ever have to worry about not being able to get a lunch on my lunch break the food is good...

I love Quiznos, I wish there was more of them like there used to be. This is actually a really good one like compared to some others, clean fast and good experience with customer service. I remember working at a Quiznos back in the 2000s and it was the only restaurant I ever worked that I never got tired of the food. I would literally eat here everyday if I live nearby. The only downside is they don't have the little condiment station with all the peppers and stuff anymore.
