So this has nothing to do with some of the wonderful employees that work there and that we're working their butts off but they're always understaffed and they had call out so they were Beyond busy and the manager was a lady and although she was on the line trying to get things caught up she should have had other employees on the line and her on their register and here is why they needed a numbers for the register to cancel out in order to get another order this poor lady that was running the register was also running the food outside to people that have been waiting 20 plus minutes and I am not exaggerating this and some people came in they wanted refunds cuz they have been waiting for so long and she was apologetic she did a great job but the manager never once got her butt off the line she would yell from the line what to do and as a supervisor who although Works Logistics I used to work in food what you would do is you would swap out so that way you're dealing with the irate customers instead of having to yell from the back you're on the registers so that way no numbers are needed cuz you can do it yourself and you have a better view of how to direct everybody to get things to where they need to be that's happened a couple times actually so whoever is the management there they need to restructure how supervisors or managers should handle situations where you have high volume and are short staffed cuz yes it gets stressful and I was very calm I understood but not everyone understands sadly we live in a mean now now Society and customers they want their stuff quick and there are ways to handle it but regular employees should never have to deal with what this poor cashier had to deal with that should have been...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk food on the run, service needs a lot of work, just common politeness would be a start, hard thing to teach our younger generation when we live in this fallen society. Poorly managed store is very busy, dirty tables and floor- door handles, counters, employees standing around playing on their cell phones, while the one or two core team players are hussling to get the food out. Pitty this mirrors how our country is going, they can't see this as the" deapstate spell" has taken over most of our inhabitants. Food itself is cooked properly, the chicken pieces are noticeably small, a 40$ bucket of chicken is not even enough to fill the bucket 3/4 .the wings and drums are the size of a game hen, not sure what has happened to there meat supplier but this is definitely not the chicken I used to serve in my younger years when I worked for this company. The flavor can vary from good to salty - as the preparation process is not being followed thoroughly. Like everything now ,even a very busy store like Yelm, it starts with the owner caring, teaching /showing/setting a good example to the staff, then staying on top of things. I give unfortunately low marks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is the only KFC (and Taco Bell) in town, and there are very few times of day when they don't have a long line of cars waiting.
I have learned that I can only go to KFC when I have time to wait.
Recently, I went indoors and spent about 8 minutes in line, then over 15 minutes waiting. I only ordered a Famous Bowl.
Now, for a restaurant that is known for being slow, I found myself listening to another waiting customer who commented on the speed at which the employees moved. Huge line at the door, multiple people waiting for takeout, and a long line at the drive-through. The staff moved at a slow pace.
One could say they were pacing themselves, but I was struck with how different it was to my own fast-food employment experience when our team would band together to hustle if there was a rush. That was not the case here.
I still go because it is the only place to get my cravings satisfied, but it is definitely not a place to go for a quick...
