Mariachi Alegre — Restaurant in Yelm

I hate to give a business this review this is pointed at the employee. I have previously worked in the service industry for 5 years if I ever spoke to or treated a customer the way this server treated us I would have been fired. We went to the restaurant because there was a power outage on our road we ordered by 6:30 I had my kids with me and the woman serving was incredibly rude to my children & us. My kids like to order their own food she wouldn’t even accept them ordering she needed it to come from us she dismissed them quickly & acted like they weren’t talking to her. She told the chef to cook my food last which doesn’t make sense when she told me my food will take the longest. She did not check in with us for an hour she came to our table and said there was one cook which is fine we would of waited for our food but it was the way she could care less & treated us like an inconvenience to her. We asked her how long until the food is up she just said “I don’t know” I asked her to check & she did go check she came back & said “I don’t know” again. I asked her there’s no way she doesn’t even have a time range of when it will be done she said “no” we said well it’s 7:30 we are going to just go get fast food our kids are hungry & I had a baby sitting in my lap getting impatient. She made a snarky sign & said “we’ll I just don’t know what to tell you” as we were leaving she just continued to yell at me and not apologize once. If she would of said “so sorry I don’t have an exact time but I will let you know” I would of been good with that but she was as rude as she could possibly be. That was the absolute WORST SERVICE I have ever experienced & then she tried to make us pay for our drinks still not apologizing. I can’t believe they would allow an employee like her to work at...

We go to Mariachi's frequently, often enough the bar tender knows our drinks and has them out to us within minutes of us sitting down... Tonight I'm extremely disappointed in what was going on, someone decided that their large group of people would take over the bar area...there is over 40 people in the bar alone standing room only and we where trying to eat....we had people hanging out talking right next to our table and hanging on the back of our booth and it was so loud we couldn't even talk unless we wanted to yell at each other...I'm extremely disappointed that they did not get some kind of control over this and make people sit down... restrictions may have been lifted but we are still in a pandemic and I don't appreciate strangers hovering over me talking about just having covid while I eat and then required to pay for a meal I could even enjoy...100 dollars wasted because we didn't even want to wait to get our change which would have been 32 dollars...Be hard prest to see me want to go...

I really like Mariachi Allegra and it started out really good. We used to have really good service but it has slipped the last few months. I've been left at the table for a long time without anyone coming by, You're not attentive or friendly at all... Tonight we went in and had dinner and I was really upset when I saw that you raised all your prices. I don't give a crap what the excuses are. Mexican food is not that expensive... Plus you shrink the portion, a tiny little cheese enchilada and a tiny little taco with some salad in the middle for $18. There's nothing special about your Mexican food at all ...You don't even give a side of tortillas or anything except for the chips... You're not even that friendly to your customers... I've been a good customer but I won't be coming back,💥, we've all been hit by inflation. I just lost my job today... It's too bad you can't find a way to cut your costs for the very customers that are struggling as well... I...
