Would rate it zero stars if possible. Though there are some very good finds there, the customer service and overall atmosphere severely damages the public appeal of this business. Went to the one on White dr. (I believe was the name of the street) and one of the men working the store treated me with a smug and sour attitude every time I asked a question about a buy. Then, my six year old son, as children will do, opened a cabinet on an old wooden broke down hutch or something, all wood and no glass or anything breakable mind you, and instead of approaching me, the short-fused man came right up on my child and scowled at him, "hey, keep your fingers off of the merchandise, PLEASE and THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!" Funny enough, his honest response was, "you're welcome" in a pitiful apologetic tone with his little head hung to the floor and his big brown puppy eyes looking up at the guy. And believe me when I say, he did nothing wrong, he wasn't running or being loud or getting into things. All he did was open a door on a cabinet that was listed at the whopping price of 15 bucks. All the guy had to do was ask me to take care of whatever he did or didn't want my child to do or not do and I would have gladly obliged, but I, or my son, wasn't given that opportunity, he took it upon himself to scold and scare my son, as this intimidating, scary, towering over him stranger. I got angry, didn't say a word, and left. Said to myself, well, i guess it's just not a place for kids and called the other Finder's Keepers on E Prospect, as it was a bit of a drive, called ahead to see if they still had an AC my inlaws had told me they had. I had called about it earlier in the day, which was what put me in the White St. Store to begin with, but upon arrival, had realized I had went to the wrong FK, and just decided to browse around until that man did that. So I called the E Prospect one to get the model number of the AC before I made the trip, just to see if it was the one we were thinking it was. (We were already anticipating having to pay over $100 for it so we wanted to make sure it was the one we were thinking of before driving all the way there). So I called back, this man answers the phone "Can I help you" "Is this Finders Keepers?" "YES!" (Kinda like, DUUH!) "Okay, was just calling about the AC I called about this morning that you guys have for sale, just wanted to--" (Cut off with) "Mam, we don't have any air conditioner. Sorry" CLICK Called back, same guy answers same tone. "Hi, yea, it's me again, I was trying to say that you DO have an AC there I ju--" (Cut off again) "Mam, we have xx other locations, try one of them, maybe they have one, okay, thank you!" And then I was a bit irritated knowing he was about to hang up again, "WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, I'm just trying to say that I know for a FACT that it's there, i talked to another employee there this morning and they told me you still had it, said the tubing wasn't with it, and gave me the buy now price on it!!" "(SIGH)..Hold please............"(could so hear the irritation in his tone) "Uh, yes, we do have one AC unit, I see it right here now, and its $100, okay? Thank you" (No apology, nothing) "Wait, wait! I know how much it is sir, I've been TRYING to ask you for the model number." "I don't know anything about a model number mam, just that it's an LG, Okay?" "It's on the bottom" "UH, LOOK MISS, I SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO WASTE, AND WILL NOT WASTE THE TIME, TO GO LOOKING UP MODEL NUMBERS ON MERCHANDISE ALL OVER THE STORE, OKAY?" "Well, I'm not ASKING you to run all over the store, you have it there in eye's sight, can't you just take a peak right under the edge at the silver model number sticker?" "NOPE! WON'T DO IT. YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO COME IN AND GET IT YOURSELF, I HAVE A JOB TO DO, OKAY? THANK YOU!!!!!" CLICK. And that was that. Didn't get a chance to look at what the business had to offer itself because I couldn't get past the disgruntled, snooty, snappy employees at the stores! They won't soon get my business no matter how good the deal, I do have SOME...
Read moreI guess this is what you would call a Hidden Gem? They have a nice eclectic Supply of vintage and non-vintage furniture and decorative items. If anything the one thing that sort of bothered me was that Items that people purchased we're still on the floor and it was disappointing when we found a set of furniture made of wine barrels and my wife really love to pretend to come to find out somebody that already purchased it. Otherwise nice place definitely keep my...
