Edit in response to owner - I drove over an hour each way to check out your store on 6-29-20, instead of ordering everything online like I usually do. Left very satisfied & found everything I needed and some. Then get home to install the servo to find I was sold the wrong size servo.. I was planning on taking it to the dunes, but I now have to drive all the way back after I get out of work to get the correct one because of an employees mistake & I asked if I could possibly get someone to help me get my RC car back together to use it because of that. The response I got was "we are too busy, but you can leave it over night & its 40$/HR", & who ever I talked to didn't seem care at all. When I got there it was anything but busy, maybe one other customer and everyone was standing around. If I had brought everything I purchased the previous day I would have returned every bit of it, was very disappointed in the customer service.. Nankin is a full-service Hobby Store emphasizing RC cars, planes, and boats. If you love RC, you’ll love Nankin.

I’m more interested in plastic kits, especially automobiles. They have a good selection of such, plus military, aircraft, and ships. All the primary brands, Revell, AMT, Tamiya, and more are there. Plus, there are paints and detailing parts - everything you need.

Plus, they know their stuff! You can ask about a kit you have been looking for, and they know it’s still available or no longer made but might be reissued. That’s the mark of a real hobby store.

Notice that I don’t call this a Hobby Shop. I’ve been building kits for over 70 years and am …. well, I guess, old school.

A Hobby Shop is small, crammed with kits stacked to the ceiling, have dusty old kits stashed away in the backroom, and the owner knows exactly where they are even if the box is behind seven other kits. But those sorts of places are rare.

Great experience! I was in the market for a new RC truck so I stopped in to take a look around. I work close to this store so I was able to visit multiple times with questions before my purchase. Each time I stopped the staff was friendly and happy to answer all of my questions. Like everyone else I did my research in the store and then checked the prices online. It turns out they were right in-line (or cheaper) than most of the online stores I would use. I ended up purchasing the vehicle from Nankin along with an additional LiPo battery and charger. They explained everything I needed to know about the truck, the LiPo battery and charger before I left the store and even took a few more follow-up questions over the phone.
