NOT HAPPY AT ALL with the Loss Prevention guys at this location! I only gave one star because they have some awesome associates, like female cashier Terry, that go out of their way to make us happy, clean store, and good health foods selection. But one Loss Prevention guy in particular ALWAYS followed us around FOR NO REASON and we're always happy to show receipts. Shoot I'll open up my purse and pull out ALL our pockets too, no problem! But this LP weirdo, who we haven't seen in a while, followed us everywhere and people we know have complained about him too! This guy (thin Caucasian with squinty eyes sometimes has a mohawk and goatee, and he used to work at WinCo in Yuba City) was literally running around wherever we went, after we made our purchase he even went OUTSIDE after us and smoked by our car! My husband was furious and the only reason he didn't confront this guy was because we had our kids with us. Another LP I never have problems with apparently has something against my husband because he always follows him around and one time this guy WATCHED my husband pay for a bike yet he still stopped my husband and my husband asked if he'd like to see the receipt, guy rudely said yes, husband showed him receipt, then the guy was like, "Oh, okay." and let my husband leave. Another time the skinny guy followed us outside, THAT was ridiculous. We've never been given a reason for why they follow us around and it's SUPER annoying and invasive. Also not very good prices anyway, their clearance clothing are priced the same or even higher than regular retail prices at other stores! If it's not a good deal I just go get the same thing at a competitor store BUT I DID always leave pretty happy with this location's customer service from...
Read moreI am a Black, female travel speech‑language pathologist. I had stopped shopping at Target after the company rolled back its DEI commitments—standards that matter deeply to me and communities like mine. But on September 7, 2025, between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., I returned. I’d been searching for a lap desk for weeks, and Target was the only nearby store with one in stock. At checkout, I chose a cashier who was an older White man, who had just finished with another customer. He asked if I needed bags—I said no. As I hesitated over how to load my items—big first or last—he drawled, “Take your time. I have all day.” Then repeated it, as if that dismissive tone was casual. I could feel the weight behind the words—it wasn’t kindness, it was belittlement. I scanned my items and began entering my phone number. He asked for my cart—I said I had it. Frustrated, he said, “Well, I ran out of room.” I replied, “Please wait just until I finish inputting my last digit, I can clear this counter.” As I began to pay, an item, that I didn’t notice, didn’t come down the belt. He asked sarcastically, “Is that yours?” I said yes. I thought it was because he had the divider on the belt and if he removed it, the item would come down. Instead of pointing it out, he stared and finally said—still in that tone—“It’s caught; I can’t reached it.” I told him that instead of just staring,, he could have said something. I told him this was a very poor customer experience. The only response was him turning his back on me, handing me my receipt, saying “have a good day,” and walking away. I reported the incident to the manager. She listened to me, apologized, and said she would address it. The dismissal, the sarcasm, the indifference—was unacceptable. I will not...
Read moreJust when I thought they finally had pick up orders figured out! Used to be when I went in I would have to wait in line behind the returns people in order to get items I had already paid for and wanted to pick up.... They finally figured it out and got a separate register to handle customers. Yay! After several months of being A happy customer I went in tonight to pick up an order to find out for the 2nd time in a month they had moved their pick up desk. It is now with the returns in the new location but there is no longer a separate register for pick up customers!!! More power to the girl at the register, she was moving rather fast. Faster than other employees I have encountered. Just as about just as I was about to reach her another girl slowly wandered up to help me. I asked her about the new pick up protocol and where the pick up person was and she pointed to the girl doing the returns. I said no, where is the dedicated pick up person? She just said oh OK and walked away to get my order. When she came back I asked her if this was the new procedure or if they would go back to having a dedicated pickup person. She simply said I don't know and walked away. Quite ridiculous! She should definitely know but whether she does or not I hope that they do bring back a dedicated area for pickups. No one should have to wait In long Lines behind people making returns when they are just there to pick up an order. If they do not correct this I know I will never pick up an order at...
