Yukon On Wheels — Attraction in Yukon

I'm Dakota Terrie! I absolutely love love this skating rink,I went there for years back in the 80's when I was a little girl with my daycare LaPetite a few times, plus when I was in elementary school too! I won't go to any other skating rink ever ever! And I'm 46 years old now,fixing to turn 47 years old in August of this year 2024! And I love love how it's still old school everything,the building,the lights on the rink,the arcade games in the place,the little concession stand too is still the same sense the 80's and the floors,the skating rink on the floor too. Nothing has been updated or redone like everything else or every other building or other skating rinks etc. I'm old school will always be old school,and proud! I'm hope they never change it till I pass away! And I highly recommend this old school skating rink to anyone that's old school at heart kids, teens, & adults. It's great too. They still do the same awesome groovy far out routines too! Which I love a lot. Don't know if anyone else does,but I do! I won't go anywhere else,and I live in Norman Oklahoma now! I'll take the extra trip and drive up to Yukon on wheels to go skating. Won't go to any other skating rink even where I live! I would give this skating rink a million stars if I could! Y'all are the best keep it old school don't change anything or remodel too if you don't have too! If it's not broken or falling down don't fix it! I'm amazed and shocked that they stayed old old after all these years! Keep it up YUKON ON WHEELS THANKS DAKOTA TERRIE😊👍🏻💚💚 it reminds me of my old childhood memories! This is the best old school skating rink in Oklahoma period! All of Oklahoma! I'll pay the extra money to go here! The atmosphere is great too. And they still some some old school 80's music as well! & it's also funny and we all have lots and lots and loads of fun! I'll drive the extra miles to go here for skating! Anything else I'll go where I live or if it's modern or new! Which ik not into modem or new stuff really! I'm into old school stuff buildings etc..anyway will start coming again till I get old and pass away! If you're old school like me or just love older stuff or places to go have fun or skate I more than highly recommend!!! Brings back my childhood memories!! I feel like a little girl all over again! So radical and far out groovy cool!!! This place is! YUKON ON WHEELS ROCK!!!...

Great place to spend time with family or with some friends! This rink is super nice & smooth compared to others around the metro. You can have birthday parties here, as well as renting it out for a private party! The workers are all helpful and sweet. The people leaving negative reviews about the workers or the establishment are complaining because they didn’t get their way. “I’m an adult… I’m a paying customer…” You know what? Everyone paid to get in there, but you don’t see them all breaking rules? You are the adult, why not set a good example for everyone? Yes food and drinks are only allowed in the concession area, if one person with a drink (regardless of if it’s a closed container or not) others will see you eating or drinking in the non designated area and follow suit. As far as the skating speed, it’s the flow of what everyone else is skating. If you decide to come on Sunday when it’s mostly children and families, the flow of traffic will be on the slower side. If you want to skate faster come on Fridays or Saturday evenings where there are more advanced skaters and the flow is a faster pace. I consider myself a regular there but I can’t stand the people leaving false information about the rink. I’m not saying this is the world’s best skating rink ever and they can do no wrong… but the parents/adults that can’t get their way are the rudest people. Very entitled and “I do what I want” attitude. The rules are very straight forward and not as strict as the negative reviews state. They are set for EVERYONE’S safety. Concession is an ok size, large enough to host 4-6 separate birthday parties. No outside food or drinks unless you booked a party with them. The rink is large and smooth. The music is great, and you can even request your favorite songs. They have skate games that are fun for everyone no matter what skating level you are at. There’s a kiddie corner for littles to practice on. They have an arcade area if you want to take a break from skating or if skating isn’t your thing. All and all nice fun place to spend time at and get some exercise! My only real complaint about the rink is that they aren’t open that often when school is...

Okay so, me and my friends were skating and having a great time ( that's the only thing we enjoyed) then after we got bored and we went outside because it was very hot. ( this was our first time being here) we were waiting on our ride to get here and it got cold so we went outside and the lady (blonde had a ponytail) that was at the desk asked us if we were going in and we asked if it was okay to wait in the lobby since it was cold and she said it was okay to do that. We were in the lobby for a good 15 minutes and she comes in to the lobby and goes "you guys need to come in or leave, but you have to throw your drinks away." THAT WE JUST BOUGHT. We didnt want to waist any money so we told her we will just leave. She was totally cool with it. When we were in the parking lot this other blonde ( early 20's) WAS SO PETTY AND RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS US! she tell us that we need to come inside because we arent aloud to leave. And that we need to throw our drinks away. We explained to her that we didnt know about the rules since it was our first time there and she was just a total bi**h towards us. She told us to leave so we were going to walk to arby's or McDonald's but when we got almost off the property THE manager DOUG came out and yelled that we need to get inside and need to throw away our drinks. I'm surprised he could walk that far. Sorry not sorry. So we went inside and I didnt throw my drink away because I'm not wasting something that I paid for with my hard earned money. Needless to say THANK YOU yukon on wheels for making my first experience with you guys a terrible one....
